Chainsaw Felling Dog Bucking Spike Compatible with Stihl 066 065 064 044 046 MS660 MS650(large)

Almost did not buy ,because of some of the reviews.purchased them anyway ,fit like a dream. no modifications need!!!works great

The spikes seem of decent quality and hardware was included too. Everything fit on my ms460 just fine and installation took about 10 mins. Longer spike goes on chain cover and shorter spike goes on saw it’s self. Time will tell how they hold up.

Decent sawdogs. Need to even up a couple of the points with a grinder and cut off the screws shorter on the cover side. All in all- decent dogs. Bought two sets

Put these on 2 different saw that came with smaller felling dogs. One I had to completely fabricate to fit. The one with the wider spaced hole I put on my Stihl 036. Had to make one hole slightly higher but works great. What a difference.

I guess these aftermarket one's are pretty weak - bends laterally easily. Suppose i shoudhave spent 2x this on some nice ones from chainsaw parts dealers like Baileys.

Bolted right on, replacing a small single. Worked very nicely.

Doesn't fit very well on a 461, there is about a quarter inch difference in how far the 2 dogs stick out from the saw with the crankcase side dog sticking out the most. The screws to connect the dog to the side cover needed shortened to allow them to fit in place.. I'm sure the fitment issue is probably just due to the 461 being a little different from the 460 or 046, but having said that this isn't a terrible product but overall could've been much better. You get what you pay for i suppose.

Fits and works great on my ms460 magnum.
