Keep your hands in your pockets. It simply does not work
It's a total waste of time and money. I used it together with Scoot at the maximum recommended concentration on dry grass with the FoxWatch ultrasonic scarer mounted nearby. I've been using FoxWatch for over a year now; changing Duracell batteries every 2 months. Foxes continue to foul the lawn on average twice a week.So far strong bleach seems to be more effective, although it does damage the grass. Hopefully the creatures will go elsewhere and then the grass can recover.

It definitely works!!!!!!
We had a fox visit our garden which we wanted to dissuade. This worked perfectly, our trail camera showed the fox ran away when the foxwatch went off so we had proof. No sign of fox since 😃😃😃

Does NotWork as a Fox Deterrent
I bought this in summer 2015 in the hope that it would stop foxes coming into my garden. I have tried using it in various locations and the battery was changed regularly. Unfortunately, it made absolutely no difference to the presence of foxes in my garden. Like another customer's review - the foxes actually walk up to it - presumably to see what it is that shows a red light and make a noise.I feel that I have wasted the £45 or so it cost me and would definitely NOT recommend it to others with fox problems.

Seems to have worked and hasn't freaked out the cat!
This has worked! It took a while for the foxes to get scared of the noise and we had to move it about a bit to get the placing right, but after a short while we have not been aware of foxes in the garden any more. We bought it more than anything due to the foxes spray marking on shrubs, (which stinks) and leaving poo all over the place (which also stinks and is horrible to remove when its bang in the middle of the lawn!). One thing we were a bit worried about was whether it would scare our cat who tends to roam in the same kinds of areas, but she doesn't seem to mind it and we don't think it comes on when she's near it, or I expect we would find her half way up the nearest tree! 4/5 because as other have said, the battery does run out fairly quickly and using the mains adaptor is not really practical for us.

Really does not work
I read reports on good and bad and thought give it a chance as having major fox problem. This ptiduct does not work as foxes just walk by it , have placed 2 on 4 ft wide walkway on decking. , they show that they work ok as my cat sets them off . They dont affect it so thought ii had the answer to the prob, P,EASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE.gave 1 star as wouldnt let me give none,

It works!
Resilient device which is best plugged in and not reliant on batteries. Tried others that rely on solar or batteries and they all failed in the end. This one keeps going but if it fails there's not much you can do since the essentials are in a sealed resin container. When mine failed it took detective work to discover a faulty cable after being in the open for a long time. Too late! I'd ordered a replacement. Both now still working.Bottom line is the foxes in our area steer clear of our garden. Cats don't seem to mind it though!

After a while the foxes ignored it
I bought this a few months ago and for a while I believe it worked. I had parents and 4 babies who took up residence under my shed. I sorted that then bought this item with the electric pack so it's plugged into the mains then I didn't have to worry about flat batteries. I also purchased the scoot to spray around the garden perimeter. Now I'm afraid they ignore it. One of the foxes actually lays in front of it and eats what it's caught. I've even had fox poo within 5 feet of it. I only have a 40 foot garden but the foxes ignore it now. I'd say they're deaf but they hear me as soon as I touch the kitchen door.So sorry, to me this is a waste of money.
