Seems to work and good customer service
Definitely helped my had recover from some bed sores obtained during his stay in hospital. However, a split in the seam developed (see photo). Thankfully this happened just within the seller's 60 day warranty and they replaced the unit promptly.

Great for at home
Bought for an elderly relative who was at risk of bed sores. Took a risk because of the price (thought it was too cheap to be effective), but it is effective. A bit bumpy when you first get into bed but soon get used to it and it soon feels comfortable. Also concerned about the noise but this is surprisingly quiet. Well worth the money!

Does not operate as described.
Whilst the mattress is sturdy and the pump is relatively quiet, it really doesn't do the intended job.The ridges are so hard, even on low pressure that I was on more discomfort, even after putting a fleece on top.The wave type action is all but non-existent. The manually was terribly written/translated and is nothing more than a sales pitch. Making it want to have 3 functions doesn't make it so. Perhaps there is a cryptic sequence required to make this work?Anyone who remembers inflatable mattresses as a child will enjoy the misery of lying on a series of hard ridges.I suspect there is more chance that I would develop bed sores using this expensive dud.Would not recommend sadly. Just sometimes you want something to do what it says it will do :-(

Handy item
I got this for my dad who is now at home in an hospital bed and wanted to obtain something comfortable for him due to being bed bound. I seen this and at the time of purchase this was around £99 which I think for someones comfort is very reasonable. On first inspection it feels very good quality and the pump is included. The weight capacity is 135kg which is great each bubble inflates from the pump to ensure the person is comfortable on it. The design is to take the weight from your loved on so that they have less bed sores and to make being bed bound more tolerable. The pump is fairly quiet you can choose how much you want to inflate the mattress and the pump can hang on the side of the bed out the way. It is thick and very durable due to the material you can simply wipe it clean should there be any spillages. This has offered my dad a whole lot of comfort I am seeing a reduction in him being uncomfortable and bedsores. Once you are done with the mattress it can simply fold away.Really good quality, this has offered alot of comfort to my dad and I think for what it is , it is a great price.

Effective and good value
The media could not be loaded. A fairly lightweight inflatable mattress for helping to alleviate pressure-induced pain in joints and muscles and to reduce the risk of bed sores occurring from prolonged bed confinement. Not large enough for two persons but plenty big enough for even a very large single person. Very easy to set up, install and operate. Lay the mattress on top of an existing bed mattress and tuck the extra material under the pillow/headboard at one end and the foot of the existing mattress at the other. Connect the two tubes to the ports at the foot then cover the mattress with a bottom bed sheet. Hang the pump on the bed with the built-in hooks or stand on a table or floor at a convenient spot next to the bed. Connect the other end of the two air pipes to the ports on the pump, plug in the power and switch the pump on. Set the intensity knob initially to maximum until fully inflated (about 7 minutes) then select the intensity according to choice. The mattress is constructed with two independent interleaved air channels and pockets which are alternatively inflated and deflated automatically by the pump this gives a gentle undulating ‘wave’ effect which is both soothing and efficacious while supporting the body with slight micro-movements which helps reduce pressure and pain. You will be aware of some noise from the pump but it is very slight and for most people, I would think it soon becomes unnoticeable. Both my wife and I have found it very comfortable in operation and helpful for our arthritic conditions. The pump and mattress appear to be well-made from premium materials, though the soft vinyl material of the mattress, while comfortable, seems quite thin, so I don’t think it would stand a lot of rough treatment and, obviously, sharp objects need to be kept away. Having said that, the manufacturers have included an emergency repair kit with the product so all is good. One minor point, if, having used it, you then decide to store it away in its box then you are likely to have a bit of a tough time as it takes simply ages to get all the air out so that it can be folded back small enough. Overall, we are very happy with this Pressure Mattress from AOJ and think it is worth the asking price.
