Babies got shiny new razor sharp teeth; ready to chop through this 400+ bd ft stack of walnut. Cuts like butter once again. No fitment issues or lines on the boards. If the inserts are not referencing square to your head you probably need new inserts screws. Mine were like new, with no wear, so that could be why I had no issues. This is my second review of this product. I have changed my rating from 2* to 4* after receiving a prompt response from the vendor addressing my concerns. I ordered 3 boxes of 10 inserts and one was missing. I was told today it is in the mail. After I had discovered a missing insert and reported it to the vendor I decided to check them all out and found one that was chipped right at the tip between the two blade faces so it was not going to work at all. I mentioned it in my first review and so the vendor contacting me and tells me he will send another one out to replace that one. The rest of the inserts look great. I will install them later this week and do a final review once I've sent a few boards through the planer. I would have given a full 5*s but for the delay in getting a completed order of the product.

I have s Steel City 40200H, I had to use 50# paper shims to get these things to index against the stops on the head mounts. Without the shims, most wiggled in the mounts. When I finally got them installed, they left hairline marks down the entire work piece because they were too small and inconsistent for the spacing. It takes several passes at one thickness and a lot of sanding to get the streaks out. They work, just not very well for my 40200H.
