Easily holds large bagels

No. Fell apart in the 2 days it sat on my counter. Pick it up to wash before use, and saw it wobble. Touched the wobbling bit and it came apart. It’s glued so obviously the glued joint failed.

The bagel slicer holder work wonderfully. I am very happy with my purchase.

I like the idea of a bagel and bread cutting guide, but they are all going to be inadequate in design. This particular cutting guide is just fine for the purpose. But, all these bamboo guides are going to have flimsy sides. Their only attachment is at the bottom, glue probably, making them prone to breaking off. I immediately noticed my bagels are fatter and will not fit. English muffins will work, but they are usually split. Great idea, but doesn’t work for me.

Good quality build and sturdy. The anti slip pads at the base work well to keep it in place. Easy to clean. (Unfortunately), it is not wide enough for some bagels and not as useful as we hoped. You will need a long bladed knife to cut the bagels as well. Cutting the bagels requires caution and extra attention.
