Is this really a Yale product ?
I’m not sure. The quality is poor.The latch fails to fully release, so it only sticks out by about half of the catches full length.Occasionally it works properly, but it can’t be relied upon.Now installed, it’s just about catching in the striker plate, but I’m not sure if will continue to do so.Very disappointed and now looking for a replacement.

Latch sticks open
The latch looks the part but the mechanism is very poorly constructed. As soon as the latch is opened it sticks fully inside the housing requiring the latch to be removed from the door to free. This basically makes it useless. This has happened to the original item I ordered and the replacement item that was dispatched. Even the most basic QC would have picked up these issues.

pefect for French doors
I m not a pro carpenter but enjoy making stuff and saying I did that. Fitted some new French doors doors and this rebated mortice lock is perfect fit and makes them look amazing.thnaks

Broken, poor quality
The latch has broken. Keeps getting stuck behind the housing. To get a return or query this issue I have to fill out a contact form for yale. Now I have a door I cannot use and no idea if I will get a replacement.

It stuck
It stuck when open.Looking good but useless..Factory should sort out that issue.than it would be perfect product for rebated french doors.I thought yale is trustable brand.
