We tried ordering a more expensive french fry maker. It didn't work out. So decided to try this. First time making thinner frys was successful. Looking forward to using it more. Stores easily and it actually works. Far more versatile than fry only. Slipping on the counter wasn't a problem first use. What a concept!

Works very nicely when you get the hang of it.Took a few practice slices to get the right consistency. Stays put sliced tomatoes,onions,cucumber and cooked beef for sandwiches. Good range of thickness choices

Great product. Definitely wesr the safety gloves. I did not and cut two of my fingers. Very sharp blade, works great!

This was purchased for a first attempt at making Chicago Italian Beef. We were able to get very thin slices of meat. The gloves were very helpful as was the guard piece that was used to hold the meat. There is also a cover piece for the blade which we put on when this was in the sink so no one would accidentally cut themselves.It held up to slicing 5 pounds of braised beef. The most important thing is there were NO injuries. The gloves, the guard and the blade cover are the three best features, imho.It was washed in the dishwasher and came out perfect.FIL was against using a Mandoline, but after watching us slicing the meat, he asked to borrow it.Very happy with this purchase, especially safety features.

Hands down best Stainless Steel Mandoline Slicer for the price! After spending 400+ Hours slicing oranges for the mother of all craft projects I feel like I'm officially certified on the validity of this product. Other slicers now reside in the landfill as they couldn't keep up, would break and produce uneven slices. This mandoline was quick to use and clean. It was even easier to cut thin and consistant slices. While other slices could only get 4-5 slices from an orange, I was able to get 6 with the thinness of slices I was able to achieve.This is now the officially mandoline of our family, the only one that should make it on future family and friend registries and an all round all-star. For a family wedding we were able to successfully use this to cut over 20,000 slices of oranges with one of these mandolines.We highly recommend this is the one you buy!

I purchased this mandolin due to the stainless steel face and easy changeable options in slicing. The blade is so dull it is difficult to slice. I was slicing radishes and had a hard time. I’ve only used it a few times so blade should be very sharp. I’m disappointed in this mandolin and would recommend since it doesn’t slice easily.
