Heavy Duty Steel Pallet Buster 41", Red

The tool itself is a back-saver! It takes 7 or 8 minutes for me to disassemble a pallet with this tool, which is a tremendous improvement over using a pinch-bar and hammer! The tool is well made, high quality. The only issue I have is that shipping time was inordinately long - I'm assuming this is a function of Covid-19 shutdown, so it can't be blamed on the company. One particularly bright spot is that due to the shipping delay, the company contacted me before shipping, to make sure I still wanted the product. That was a nice touch, and I'm very glad that I had them ship it! Should the need arise, I will definitely reorder.

I've been doing DIY projects with pallets for years now and always had the issue of breaking them down first with a crowbar and hammer and everything in between. Then I started using a reciprocating saw and that was ok but still, you have to hammer some board away from the nail to get a good saw in. It definitely takes some time and energy to break them down.I was able to break down a pallet in 5 minutes with the pallet buster!!! 5 minutes!! I timed it too!You still have a few boards per pallet that are unusable but they were already cracked or weakened before I started.It is a little heavy but once you get the first board out, the rest is super easy!

This is a pretty decent product overall, especially compared to busting down pallets with a crow bar, sledge hammer or reciprocating saw. Well made, sturdy. My only complaint is that it came with no instructions, safety precautions or anything of the sort.Now I consider myself to have plenty of common sense. I do some light woodworking, handy man projects, even get my socks on unassisted most days, but it would have been nice to at least have a link to watch a how to video. The box literally came with some packing and the tool. No assembly, thank goodness, but I would have liked something giving even the slightest “how to”.

I have several old wooden shipping pallets that I used to take apart manually to make workbenches and various other helpful workshop items from. I usually broke many of the boards and it took forever to disassemble a single pallet. I just got my ikris Heavy Duty Steel Pallet Buster 41" and took it out of the box, laid a pallet down on the back porch, and took it apart in about five minutes without breaking any boards. Amazing! I still have to remove the nails from each board but plan to make a template to place each board in with the nails sticking out face up so I can quickly hammer them out of the board. This item is made of quality materials and is very well made. I recommend it highly!

i used to reclaim pallets buy hand it takes so long and you end up with cuts and etc. , looking on youtube i found a tool like this one, thinking it would cost alot i looked and suprisly no is was very much affordable. The tool is heavy steel it is not going to wear out, the wieght of it helps you break down the pallet also. in the time it took me to break down 1 pallet before i can break down 5 with this tool. BUY IT

I've started using used pallets for various wood projects. To take the pallets apart requires quite a bit of strength. This quality product makes the task much easier. The more you use it the better you get at it. I was able to breakdown 15 pallets in about 2 hours. I wasted very few boards in the process. I highly recommend purchasing this tool. The company actually reached out to me before the tool was received. They wanted me to know that they were confident in their product and to let me know if I had any issues they were available to rectify promptly. Great service, great product. Good price.

Little difficult to use when pallet boards are close together, once one is removed it works good. Have to be more careful on thinner boards because of the nails used on pallets are usually ringed or spiral nails which make them a little more difficult to remove. Otherwise happy so far with the product....

This heavy duty pallet breaker really does the job! Overall excellent quality. Used it for a few days now and the finish on it hasn't chipped at all. I have been using a wrecking bar but now will switch to this for now on. It's the perfect length (about 41inches tall) for me, I'm 6ft 2inches tall. The unique pivoting feature really helps unhinge any stubborn board without breaking or cracking the wood, which is ideal for reusing the wood for later. I would highly recommend this tool for anyone who constantly needs to break down pallets and remove nailed down pieces of wood. A real back saver as well!
