We love Squishmallows and have purchased a lot of holiday ones right here on Amazon. This Santa is adorable--he is not wearing his usual red suit, but is sporting a red and black Buffalo Plaid shirt and green pants. For you Trivia buffs, Buffalo plaid originated in Scotland in the 1800s. It was knowns as the MacGregor plaid, but was imported to America and created by Woolrich Woolen Mill as the "Buffalo Plaid" for outdoor wear. My son is part Scottish, so this is a fun Santa with Scottish roots. He is made of soft velour, and the detail is superb--a feature of the Squishmallows. He is also well-made and we have him displayed with our other Christmas Squishmallows. This "rustic" Santa would make a great gift for the Santa lover, your son or daughter, niece, nephew or friend. He can be used as part of your Christmas decor for your bed or couch.
