Reaper 77194: Cthulhu

This was exactly what I thought would happen. My husband LOVES it! When he has spare time, he’s working on it. It is taking him a while lol he keeps changing what colors to use where! Lol It assembles with ease. Painting the individual pieces is easier before assembly. When my hubby isn’t working on it, Cthulhu sits assembled on our fish tank :-)

This miniature is great except that every time I look upon it feelings of hopelessness and despair overwhelm me. The last time I tried to paint Cthulhu I woke up several hours later with green paint all over my face. Even my pupils had paint on them. The model itself really is about 9 inches by 9 inches. The insanity it will induce into your household however cannot be measured. Also, it is hard to fit the packaging into my recycling bin due to the non-euclidean geometry.

Easy to assemble, very detailed. Not fragile, made of a flexible plastic. Only caveat is that you have to be careful what kind of paint you apply to it, and you need a primer. I made mine look like a small weathered bronze statue.

Absolutely love this miniature, I just finished painting it, and I can’t wait to use it in my Call of Cthulhu game.

Not as bizarrely repugnant as the old RAFM version, but still impressive. Parts fit together well, and pretty sure paint will noticeably enhance it. Regardless, it’s a tabletop foe that any DM can use to provide players a very formidable challenge.

It has really good sculpting and is a good size.

This is a large model so it is big and scary for my RPG miniatures.

Besides a few pieces not fitting together properly its was an awesome figure to paint
