Don’t waste your money
I did a little research on bread slicers before I decided to purchase this brand. Yes, it’s cheaper than the competitors but I decided that there couldn’t be too much of a difference. Wrong! The fold-down guides at each side are poorly attached to their base - if they are attached at all - and that was evident upon opening. After a wipe down with a wet paper towel, I reassembled the slicer to see if it was useable at all. Attached photo proves it wasn’t. This went straight into the trash. Don’t waste your hard-earned money.

Nice wooden bread slicer. Free knife is plus.
Ship and arrive fast. Only thing I am not satisfied with is its width. After folding, you can fit the bread up to 7 in. It is hard to hold tight for regular size bread (much less than 7 inch).

Good
I like this slicer. While the knife is a bit short (it does not go to the other side) it still allow me to cut the bread in perfect slices. So it might not need to go to the other side after all. It is easy to clean and store when not in use, but it is pretty enough to stay outside too. I'm glad with my purchase.

Don't bother
Too wide for knives, shakes like the devil when you're trying to cut, grooves are unevenly spaced, portions of the groove walls snapped off, overall just a really bad tool for cutting bread. It made cutting harder in every way

Works wonderfully, my only issue is that it needs a longer knife. The one supplied keeps slipping out of the teeth. If the knife were 9 or 0 inches the set would be a perfect 5 stars

The openings for the knife to slice through are WAY too wide to get a perfect sized slice consistently
It gets the job done but there is no stability to get even slices. The openings for the knife to slice through are WAY too wide to get a perfect sized slice consistently. The bread knife is also too short to even reach the other side of the opening. I recommend looking at other options for a slicer. The only reason I recommend this product (slightly) is because the quality of the bamboo is pretty nice.
