Hi everybody.This knife bar was great. Bought late November. The magnets are extremely strong, it held my knife set in position with ease. I use a set of Hexclad knives.Before I installed to the wall (using supplied adhesive) I done the following:- Used 99% isopropyl alcohol to make sure the wall I was sticking to was clean.- Used 99% isopropyl alcohol to the rear of the knife strip so the metal was clean and dry for a flawless surface for the adhesive to bond to.- Stuck adhesive to the knife strip with moderate pressure- Stuck knife strip to the wall and held in place for 5 minutes- Let sit for 48 hours- Loaded knife set onto knife strip.8 weeks later the adhesive had failed. I don't know what I could of done any different to give it the best chance of not failing.2 stars, knife strip is great. Adhesive failed badly.I do not want to mount this to the wall using screws, hence why I used the adhesive option.Supplied photo, you can see where my lines are, where the bar used to sit and where it is now.

Stuck it to the wall, left it 48 hours as it suggested in the instructions before adding knifes too it and fell off 3 weeks later.Nothing else to say really, bought it so that I wouldn't have to drill into the wall and it couldn't even stay on despite stating that the adhesive strips are of extremely hight quality.

How nice to find a product that does what it says it will! I followed the instructions and used the adhesive pads since I wanted this attached to a glass tile backsplash. It was very easy. It's been a month and the adhesion is working perfectly, the knife holder is currently holding an assortment of cutlery as shown in the photo, including a pair of kitchen shears. I'm not one for reviews but I recognize their value as I relied on them to make this purchase and I'm happy to give it 5 stars. I'm very pleased with the look and the quality, and I'm glad to be rid of the old knife block. Highly recommend!

I cook and need my tools readily available. This strip gets the cumbersome butcher block out of the way, frees up more space, and holds my knives securely to the wall where I need them—exactly what I wanted.The directions said to let it cure for 24 hours [don't put anything on it to let it entirely stick to the surface) which I followed with no issues. Good product.

Easy installation with the self adhesive option. I liked this because no holes were drilled in my tile backsplash. Very strong. Holds several knives and looks great. I just purchased a second one for my daughter. I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this for my boyfriend when he moved into a new place. It solidly holds all of his dinner knives as well as all of his cooking knives. He loves it!
