AirFit P10 Medium System Assembly, Tube, Frame, Medium, Small Large Pillow & Strap

Bought this for a ResMed Airseries-10 machine. I pulled the facemask swivel off the corrugated air hose and this P10 assembly hose will slide in snuggly where the swivel was.

Will buy again !!!

I really needed to replace this piece on my DreamStation. I was initially worried about this purchase, but am pleasantly surprised!! I'm very happy with this item, however, the price was a bit ridiculous! Perhaps someone has a suggestion for a comparable item which isn't as expensive? If so, please let us know in the comments.Meanwhile, this item works great, and comes with all 3 sizes of nose pillows, so, whichever you need, you'll be covered.

Probably the quietest mask and lightest feeling mask available in the states. The seal being farther up the nose means the mask is almost completely silent with EPR turned down or off. Very easy to clean. I trim my nostril hairs so there's minimal sensory issues. Nostril parts gets yucky and needs cleaning daily or I would recommend getting a spare and switching it out in the middle of the night. I use the small nosepiece (maybe XS would be even better); there is less feeling of my nose being "plugged and inflated". A fabric cover for the nose piece that secures with velcro, can push the mask upwards a tad bit and makes the seal a little better.Strap is pretty comfortable but is the weak point here. You have to synch it pretty tight to get a good seal and since there's not much force upward. There is a thicker third-party strap available but I haven't tried it. Would be nice if they had a wider nosepiece option.The under the nose version is N30i is probably more comfortable but more challenging to get a good seal and more "air-whoosh feeling" in the nostrils. I would recommend trying the Fischer and Paykel Micro Nova if you have the means to obtain it in America. As of this review they don't ship to the United States, but was a possible to get it through a "workaround". It is a tad bit less quiet than the Airfit P10 but using 22mm tubing with a fabric sleeve the majority of the noise is going to come from the machine anyways. The strap anchors to your face at two points and the nostril piece is a bit more comfortable for wider noses. The price is about the same once you factor in the cost of forwarding :)
