Need to know this before you buy
This electric blanket has 2 digital controllers and is therefore not suitable for use with a WiFi plug which was how I turned my previous blanket on. The old one had a mechanical control switch which I left in the on position all the time, allowing me to turn it on by switching the power supply on remotely via the internet before leaving work when finishing a night shift.I was not able to use the blanket and returned it for a full refund.It does seem well made and would have been very comfortable though.

Good heat but only decent design
It heats up very well any very quickly. However the design has room for improvement. It does not stay in place very well at all and I find it uncomfortable because of this. Additionally, the cable and controller is in an awkward position, the controller cable is not long enough to place the controller in an accessible position. Sometimes buttons on the controller get hit throughout the night causing the heat to blast up.

No block by your shoulder!
I love it. The connection blocks are at the top corner of this full height blanket so no hard block digging into your shoulder all night. It's velvety soft and super comfy. I would buy again and again. So happy 😃

Perfect
I keep this on #1 setting and it's perfect. I like a cold bedroom and just like a minimum setting when in bed { I have a Hungarian goose down and feather duvet and find the combination perfect. Best duvet can be found here on Amazon Search GDFP goose down. Honestly the best for the price.
