Looks very different and it's not the same color, more of a dark maroon wood color, but nonetheless is a beautiful bowl and works well.

Little small for a skein of yarn, the bowl itself looks nice. The edges are a little rough and needs to be sanded.

This yarn bowl is really nice, and handy when knitting something with a single yarn ball. I wish it were a bit bigger and deeper, so it would hold bigger balls of yarn. Still I like it enough to not return it.

Smaller than expected, will not hold a large ball of medium weight yarn.

Yarn bowls are as described. Beautifully handcrafted and gorgeous. I bought them for gifts. My only concern is the weight of them. I hope they are heavy enough to stay put. If not, I suppose they could be weighted down easy enough.

Hate to think of anyone cutting down a mango tree(!), but what a lovely second life for one! I resisted buying a yarn bowl for a long time, as I've done quite well without one, but this one was reasonably priced, and made by native artisans, so I decided to try it.I'm glad I did: I'm enjoying its beauty and utility very much.

I really thought it would be bigger. Only holds one standard ball of yarn at a time. Not real heavy but would make a unique gift to a beginning crafter. Smooth finish.

I love the bowl but I needed to sand the inside to keep from snagging my yarn, lil pricey for the size but makes a wonderful gift
