Great little watch pocket knife
I can not get over how this knife is always my carry knife, even though I have many more to use. The blade is centered, edge is perfect with same bevel on both sides, the back lock is great, and it is all stainless steel. There is never a doubt if it's closed or open and locked, it's not going to do anything it shouldn't. For the price, quality, and getting the Spyderco customer service with it, there is almost nothing that can go wrong for you. Get it while you can, super back-up knife.

Excellent small EDC/work blade. Awesome value.
Perfect little knife. I love Spyderco and own a number of them. Delica4, Tenacious, Paramilitary 2, Byrd Cara Cara, and now this cool little Byrd Robin2.I wasn't a huge fan of the Byrd FRN handles, so when I saw that they had these Byrd knives in G10 and stainless steel my interest was peaked. I needed a new work knife, something smaller then my delica that I've been using lately. I saw the Robin2 and the Meadowlark, I decided to go with the robin since it seemed like the meadowlark was similar in size to the delica.I really like the stainless steel handle. It gives the knife a very sturdy and robust feeling. No blade play, opening and closing is smooth. Steel is decent 8cr13mov and came reasonably sharp. Sharpened up even nicer with my Sharpmaker. The size is perfect too. Just what I was looking for. Not too small and not too big. Great for a lot of medial small tasks, like work related things... Cutting boxes, cardboard, straps, plastic, scoring paper etc. If I carried this knife outside of work it would be a back up knife. I usually carry something larger with me as an EDC like the paramilitary2 or my ZT 0562. Blades like this robin2 and my delica serve well as back up blades that are used for normal cutting tasks, something you don't need to pull out that big main carry blade for. At least that the system I use.All in all I couldn't be happier. This is a $20 knife and I feel like it's easily worth more. I've bought $40-$50 knives that I would not take over this robin2. It's very solid and build quality is good. Again, it's only $20... You really do get your money worth here.

Great knife. Stainless version is a tad heavy but ...
Great knife. Stainless version is a tad heavy but very sturdy. It is sealed. No Torx screws to remove scales for cleaning and lubrication. I also have a Byrd Meadowlark 2 with glass reinforced nylon. I like it better overall. The blade on this one is slightly stiff and it won't fall closed like the Meadowlark. But for a really nice quality gentlemanly pocket knife this is a great choice. I carry a Rat 1 (waistband carry) or 2 as EDC. But I carry this one when I tuck in my shirt and want to fit in the "watch pocket" of 5 pocket jeans or pants. It's a good office knife.Amazon knives rankedRat 1Rat 2Kershaw Cryo (Great knife but not legal in some states)Byrd Meadowlark 2Byrd Robin SS

These are great knives...
Spyderco makes a great product, and this one is just the right size for many small functions. I have many knives and they each do different things. This one is good for keeping in your pocket no matter what you're doing. It's amazing how many activities can use the help of a knife. Plus a girl should always have these everywhere, all the time. This one is slick, and looks beautiful! It's also very sturdy, strong, and very well made. No loose screws here. The blade comes out easily and locks securely. Practice with it though, so you get fast with it. A little bit of WD40 makes it very easy to open. In a hurry, if I had to choose a knife, this would be my preferred choice. It should be yours too.

Perfect knife!
Great knife for a great price, super sharp out of the box, and very sturdy! The blade is a bit stiff but it will eventually loosen up with more use. Also came sooner than expected since packages are being delayed now during the holidays.

Excellent knife! Great quality and price.
Best quality knife for the price available. Description was accurate, knife works great, and is SUPER sharp. Couple reviews said "hard to open/close", but I am not sure what they might be referring to. The knife i received in mail opens and closes very easily as expected. You can shave with it right out of the box if you wanted... Literally! If you want Spyderco quality without the high price, then the Byrd collection is what you are looking for.

Great for Engraving!
Awesome knife for the price. I buy these knifes to hand engrave and resell and they are a perfect project piece. They are great quality and are heavy duty. Super sharp too! Check out the pics and give me a follow on Instagram to see more of my work @electriceyeengraving .

Great EDC for me!
I am very happy with it! As I've said in Spyderco forum that my boyfriend is addicted to Spydercos and he knows I needed an EDC and wanted something small and reliable. He got this for me and I use continuously at work, mostly for cutting tops off boxes. Works great very sharp, love it.
