Great little switch!
Needed a new HDMI switch when I got my PS5. My old, and admittedly cheaper, switch was only rated for up to 4k 60Hz. It worked ok at 1080p, but dropped signal and had visual glitches and artifacts at it's max rating (4k60). Wanted to upgrade to a nicer one with more headroom. I don't have any 8k signals to test, but it works great switching between my Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5. Auto switching works perfectly, and I've mostly "set it and forget it". Which, for me, is the best praise I can give it. It works so well I don't have to think about it anymore!

Works great for my Xbox Series X and new 4K Smart TV
I purchased this unit to replace a similar unit from another brand. I have a single HDMI 2.1 cable running through my wall to my TV, so I needed a switch to handle all the devices down below. Because my old switch didn't support the 4K 120hz gaming output from my Xbox Series X, I needed to upgrade. This unit is great, solid construction, no lag or impact to picture quality that I can detect, etc. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that it's so light, it doesn't always lay flat on the surface it's placed when there are several HDMI cables plugged in. Easily solved by some double sided tape.

Do't buy if you own a Visio TV
This product was great. Easy to install and use. However, we have a Visio TV and when I tried to lower the volume on the TV it turned the switch off.

It switches between multiple computers and one monitor
I acquired this product because I have several computer servers that I run "headless" (without an attached monitor) that I access using remote desktop in Windows. 99% of the time everything works fine.Once in awhile I find a need to connect a monitor to a server, and in the past I'd have to crawl on the floor, fiddle around behind the systems, and swap an HDMI cable to the server I want to work on.I decided that I was getting too old for crawling, so I got this switcher. I did have to purchase a set of HDMI cables, but now all of my servers are connected to this box, and they can share a single monitor.Since my monitor is only 2K 60hz, I cannot speak for how well this switch box works with higher resolutions, but it does exactly what I need. I like the fact that I can use a remote for this, but manual switching is fine for how I'm using it.
