Worked right out of the box! Wish it was a bit longer and maybe another light switch on the handle but it’ll be ok. I like the flex gooseneck as that allows for awkward areas getting around obstacles. Would like the light to be a little bright but so far, doing ok. Having the magnet on the base and the light also helps with flexibility with positioning the light head when just needing the light and able to extend as to pinpoint to the area you may be working. The range of uses is pretty vast and has already come in handy after only a couple of days of having it. Not sure why I had not gotten one sooner with all the other stuff I have already! I bought 2 to have one in the shop and the tool bag in my truck. As to durability, not known yet but feel like it’ll last a while based on what appears to be good quality materials. It is tight when telescoping out to certain length and stays put! I have seen other telescoping units made too loose and do not hold the desired position. Even having the gooseneck as tight as it is will be good! All in all, very happy with my purchase and would recommend! It is a great stocking stuffer as well for those somewhat hard to buy for guys/women out there. Having this in either a tool bag, shop or even the junk drawer in the kitchen will come in handy! Only thing I’d also recommend, if possible, is leave the battery “sleeve” that holds batteries (4), close to it as we all know what low usage battery operated devises can do over time. You won’t be sorry buying this. I am very happy!!Cheers!!

It already helped me to pick up something I dropped into a tight space. The telescoping works as intended. The curving neck is flexible. Decent quality tool
