My kids were sooo excited to get this again I mistakenly let them take it and open. BIG mistake. Everything they tried they said tasted rotten! At first I thought they were being dramatic until we spent the evening with them both throwing up multiple times. I am NOT happy.

I just want to start by saying I really enjoy chamoy pickles. I love the spicy and sour flavor combination. I have tried several chamoy pickle kits, and this one really fell short. To start out the pickle was packed in a bag with only a small amout of pickle juice. When the bag is standing vertical it only fills the bag about a quarter of the way.At first I was really excited about how massive the pickle was, but once I got it into the bowl I was met with an aroma I really wasn't expecting. The sour pickle smell was dominant, but there was also a smell that was very much like playdough. It was a really plastic smell.I took a couple of bites and was really thrown off by the taste that was much like the smell. I only ate a little of it because it really wasn't good. The pickle itself was tough and felt dried out. I asked my husband to try it and he noticed the same smell and flavor. I'm assuming that the pickle didn't preserve well because it didn't have enough juice. I checked the bag for leaks before I opened it and it was intact and it was within the expiration date. So I can only assume that the problem was with the amount of juice in the bag.

This is hardly edible . Too spicy and doesn’t taste good at all!

My son was anxious to try these but was disappointed. The flavor isn't spicy or sour, but instead it's an attempt at both & failed. It leaves an unpleasant taste in your mouth.
