It works, but it’s not great
I’ve held off reviewing this until I’d had it for a while. I have 4 cats and laminate floors. This is great at picking up cat hair and fine dust or sand.It doesn’t do a good job on carpets (we have two short pile carpets) or with long human hair, and it is utterly useless when it comes to rugs and mats. In fact, it gets itself hopelessly tangled on the larger rugs and requires rescuing. It doesn’t pick up cat litter at all, it just pushes it around. The bin is a bit small and needs to be emptied frequently.Basically, it’s never going to replace a normal vacuum cleaner. I dare not leave it unattended and I have to prep the rooms beforehand, picking up the rugs and any cables that it might get tangled in. It hasn’t fallen down the stairs, so I think that sensor works as advertised, and I’m glad it came with spares of its little feeler-dusters, as they are already damaged from being caught in the rugs.It also comes with a little box you can put in the doorway of a room to prevent it from going in, which works. You need to buy batteries for that unit. The wheels are quite big, so it can get over most smallish obstacles quite easily. And it’s low enough that it goes under our beds with ease.It has no memory, so it struggles to find its way back to its base, which is frustrating to watch.A big plus is that the cats aren’t afraid of it, like they are of the normal vacuum. They watch this one for hours and follow it around the house.

Just get one you know you want to :)
Like many i was a bit sceptical of how good it would be and I've got to say for the money it's very good, it picks up dust and small bits very well and help keeps the floors clean in-between big cleans. It's no mains powered vacuum but it's very good, the horizontally rotating brushes at the front pull in bits towards the vacuume in the centre while the robot wonders around randomly. It seems to struggle to identify radiator pipes and sometimes table legs and bumps into them but it's full of sensors and normally stops before it hits walls etc and even has a sensor to stop it falling down the stairs. It's great for hard floors and when it senses it's on our thin door mat it ups it's suction power to help pick up bits out of the carpet although it struggles in the living room where the carpet is thicker.I'd definitely recommend one to anyone, it's worth mentioning that it comes with a spare HEPA filter and front brushes and it also speaks certain prompts and information to you.My main negative with it has been the schedule function which is just a delay start timer whereas i thought it could be set to clean for an hour and then it would automatically go back and dock when it's finished, where in reality all your options are to start it and let it run until it's running out of battery then it'll go back and charge itself or delay the start and it'll start when the timer runs out and do the same as above. You can also do spot cleaning, boarder cleaning and manually drive the robot around with the remote control. Also included with the robot is a battery powered blocker which stops the robot going past it i.e into an area you don't want cleaning. All in all I'm impressed and wish I'd have got one of the higher models with more features/capabilities.

He's even better than my vax hoover and I was suprised by ...
Charlie the vacuum cleaner is incredibly helpful. He's even better than my vax hoover and I was suprised by how much hair and dust he hoovered up. He saves me lots of time and its great to just let him hoover as I dust and tidy up. The only negative is he sometimes gets stuck on the edge of a rug and needs a nudge.

Quality is poor, broken down after 10 months, but suction could be stronger
The product broke down after only 10 months. Even when it did work, the suction was not strong enough. for example the side brush could drop one or two lines of hair from the brush itself but the machine was unable to pick up. But for dust and hair is sufficient, bigger objects like rice on the floor is not able to pick up.

Rarely returns to based for recharging

Two Stars
Not very good for pet hair as the inlet gets clogged very quickly, should be fine for dust

Worth every penny
Very good as it goes from room to room with no problems. Occasionally gets stuck under the settee, but it gives the family lots of entertainment, plus watching the cat's reaction as well.
