best knife I've ever owned
The only reason I have this knife is because I inherited it. This is the kind of knife that gets passed down through the generations I guess and that is something in itself. Otherwise I would never put out this kind of money for a knife and I can't afford it anyway. But I have owned and used many knives for different things from places like Spyderco, CRKT, Smith and Wesson, Schrade, Buck, KA-Bar and some others, this is the nicest knife that I have ever held in terms of weight, blade quality, steel quality, general drop point design and although I always prefer a slightly larger grip, I still have yet to find a knife where I think the grip is big enough big hands I guess. The stag handle is not really my thing normally but it works with this knife and the handle is superior except for minor personal size issue.

Great investment.
I got mine back in 89 when I started my first job from a snap on dealer. Paid much less but that was almost 30 years ago. I was 19 and just passed it to my son whose now 19 and in the military. Perfect size at 5.9" so he can carry it in uniform on base. Perhaps he'll pass it to his son some day.
