This was a purchase for my 16 year old nephew. He liked the fit, color, and style.

Please don't go size down, I am 5,10 weight 200lb, I usually wear large, I bought a M because some of the reviews said size down, now I have to return it, the shirt fits tight around the shoulders and chest area.

We know Carhartt is good quality. Asking for a refund since we never received the item. The status of our item stated 'Likely Delivered'? Have never experienced this before. We hope they honor our refund.

If you prefer regular fit rather than relaxed fit, you may want to buy 1 size smaller, which I did.I do not have a big belly. While my regular size is M, size S fits me perfectly with enough room.I am not a fan of the logo graphic on the sleeve. It is just redundant and too loud. Why does shirt need to shout its name, CARHARTT? Simply bad taste without any functions. Idiotic. Thus, 4 stars instead of 5.I would appreciate a chest pocket.It is soft and smooth. Perfect for warm yet not hot weather.UPDATE:I have the Dickies Men's Temp-iq Long Sleeve Performance Sun Shirt which is similar to this Carhartt Force long-sleeve. The difference between them is that this Carhartt Force shirt is RELAXED FIT, while the Dickies Sun Shirt is REGULAR FIT. I wear M for Dickies, while S for this Carhartt is perfect on me.BTW, I do not wear anything under this shirt. If I want to layer, I simply wear a heavyweight Carhartt T-Shirt on top of this shirt. Better yet, I often wear my vintage Ben Davis 1/2 zip shirt over the Carhartt Force long-sleeve.

I've got quite a few Carhartt jackets and vests in 2XLT, so I thought it shouldn't be an issue to get this shirt, but, it fits HUGE! I'm 6'3" and the tall shirt hangs down below my butt and is pretty loose on me. It fits more like a 3XL in the chest and waist, and the sleeves are also too long. I'll put it in the dryer and see if it shrinks at all, and consider ordering a regular XL.
