We rescue and foster cats, with 19 of our own, sometimes we worry that one may wander off and get lost. For that reason, we started chipping our cats but where we live, it costs an extra $45 at the vet to do it on top of any visit charge or procedure they are doing(i.e. Spaying). Being that we have so many, that wasn't feasible, until now. The needle on these does look a little big if you are used to giving IV fluids but just remember that this is a quick in, inject, and remove procedure so even if the animal gets uncomfortable, it will only be momentary. I've tried a few other microchips they seemed dull. These chips are sharp easy to use.

No registration , you have to buy a scanner to find out your registration number. It comes from China....BEWARE
