I’ll have to admit, at first I was a bit skeptical but I decided to give this a chance. I’m a huge blade enthusiast and started a collection. My Katana arrived right on time and in perfect condition which I was pleased about. I was surprised to see the cloth carrying bag it came in. Giving the bag a feel, it felt very strong and high quality. At first glance of the Katana, I expected at least a flaw or two, but giving the blade a look over I couldn’t find anything (except for the usual scuffs you could expect to find). The katana feels very well made and balanced, and it is definitely sharp right out of the sheath so I do recommend caution when cleaning the blade. The blade does come with machine oil on it which is good but does make it a bit difficult to unsheathe for the first time. I’m also a big fan of the attention to detail on the guard and pommel. Handling the blade, I can’t feel any or notice any sign of a loose tang or parts on or in the handle. Looking over the sheath it feels pretty solid in hand, the only part about it that feels cheap is the art wrap around the wood, but as a display piece I’m not complaining. Overall I rate this a solid 5 stars for the high quality and attention to detail and I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to collect a katana of this quality for a reliable price.

It's a lot lighter than I expected but still a beautiful blade, As a collector of swords I wouldn't think much of them at first.I had a dream a week before I ordered the sword and it became the reason I did, not the sword itself, But because of the name I have given it.Daichi, a six meaning name that I had uttered in the dream, it's strange I didn't even know of the name until that dream, never once heard it or uttered it before but it's the name I had given a sword in that dream to.For those who do not understand it: Daichi means six things two corresponding names each: Large and Great, Land and Earth, Lastly is Wisdom and Intellect.When I looked that up, I knew I needed a blade worthy of that name so here I am with the sword I have now named.I hope that when others get a sword they get it for the same purpose. Names are a powerful thing but it is a power to be respected above all else. Give such a powerful thing to a sword and that sword can take on a whole new meaning in your life. Swords are Dangerous tools, but they are also works of elegant art that deserve our attention and respect.

I did not expect much from this 80 dollar sword of of amazon none the less, but to say the least i was very surprised. The blade is very sharp and sturdy, it does come a little bit dirty out of the scabbard but other than that it it great. Though it is slightly on the heavier side it is a great sword for a collection or to just have fun with.

I was so excited when I got the notification. And I’m not disappointed, the blade feels great, wood sheath, amazingly made handle and craftsmanship. I’m probably going to but the other three to fill the 4 spots on my stand. I can remember the name of those who made this blade of the top of my head, but thank you for such an awesome blade to show off to my friends that isn’t just a wall hang. Watermelons beware, time to play RL fruit ninja

My son (11 1/2 yo) saved up his money for a long time to buy this. He really loves it as it matches a sword one of his favorite anime characters uses. He plans to wear it with his halloween costume. I actually wish it was less sharp and pointy but I understand it's a real sword. It's not as heavy as I thought it would be which is good because he's not very strong. It seemed awfully pricey to me but he loves it so I'm happy too!

I've seen dozens of swords (stores, shops, fleamarkets etc) and read lots of reviews prior to buying this one; I have to say I'm very impressed by the quality and craftsmanship of this one. Looks and feels amazing and also came with a soft (over the shoulder) carry bag. Slightly sharp (won't cut your finger) but definitely not dull like most. I had it engraved for my daughter as well. Very happy, recommend for sure!

This sword is a beautiful work of art. Its sheath has an amazing and eccentric picture emblazoned on it. Qlso the blade is waved and is a black blade. Its sharp enough for battle but not razor sharp. Yet its folded enough times that you can sharpen it yourself if you want it sharper. The hilt is perfect and stern and put together. It is qlso a full tang and reliable and strong. Its one of my favorite swords in my collection.
