Wera3950/9 Hex-Plus Stainless 1 SB L-Key Set, 9 Piece (1.5-10mm)

This is pure tool porn.I had a bolt that I thought I'd stripped, which clamped my monitor arm to my desk at work. A standard hex key refused to budge the bolt, and just spun round freely. Well, I swore that would never happen again, so bought these. Stainless means it won't contaminate stainless bolts and cause them to corrode (which plain tool steel can). And for all my wanting not to believe the special marketing about their patented 'hex plus' profile, IT WORKS. I put this into that stripped bolt, and it came out first turn as if it had just been oiled and had a perfect head. This is the sort of precision engineered device that blows your mind with its quality. You will NEVER go back after trying these.They'd be worth having at double the price, and I definitely won't be touching any of the 5mm hex heads on various parts of my festool kit with anything except these in future. In fact, I almost don't go anywhere without this and my 'tool check plus' kit (another extreme case of quality) nowadays.Buy them, you'll never look back. And the stainless option are the only ones you really want.

The set is feels really well built, is substantially heavy but not so much you couldn't carry it around in a small toolbox.I had a previous set for many years but the smaller hex keys on the ball joint had become worn. They had a different coating though so I went for stainless steel this time to see if they last longer. The previous set is still completely usable and did last many years though.I've had cheaper sets break after 1 use, and I've had more expensive sets that don't feel as good quality so I'd recommend these.They feel strong, are quite long so you can get enough torque behind them and having the ball ends really helps to get into awkward spots

there's a reason that as an engineer, i go back time after time to wera when i need tools. great price and they just work, and work well.you don't have to worry about them failing, or something not working as it should, they just work well.best hex keys around, they don't round!

Can't fault these! Working in food production, the fact that their stainless os a massive boon! As well as the extra sturdiness as a result. Best money in ever spent in my engineering career.

Been a fitter for 28 years now and these are the best keys I’ve ever had. Had loads of sets over the years and these are the first ones that don’t cam out of the set screws or end up with munched and rounded ends. Would definitely recommend.

Quite pricey but very good quality and well manufactured. Feels like it will be very long lasting. Case feels well made and sturdy also very well packaged. Highly recommended.

Che dire?Quando spendi per un prodotto di qualità poi si sente.Essendo strumenti che utilizzo per lavoro ho preferito i prezzi di wera che sono circa il 50% superiori rispetto ad altre marche magari più blasonate ma che ti garantisce una qualità infinitamente superiori.Chiavi della lunghezza giusta per un ottima leva e teste delle chiavi veramente a regol d arte

I rate these as the same caliber (or perhaps higher) as tool-truck brands.Rachet-style hex keys serve a purpose but in my case, I prefer individual wrenches like these.

I bought these to replace my Bondhus allen keys. I needed a longer armed allen key set. Great finish and very strong. I have tightened electrical lugs using the ball end and a pipe. Very durable I just wish that they sold an imperial set in stainless.
