Bosch 06033D1070 EasyVac 3 Compact Dry Vacuum Cleaner, Green

Nice compact vacuum, handy for the garage. It does have a tendancy to block quickly, but I tend to clean the filter after each use.As others have said the fittings are very tight, but don't let that put you off. Also handy that your corded power tools can be slaved through the device, so that when you start the power tool the vacuum turns on as well. Very useful.

After a year of working out of my small workshop, sweeping up sawdust after a project or at the end of each day was no longer cutting it. I spent a couple of hours using this to clean my clean-looking workshop and managed to fill a bag and a half with sawdust. It got into the corners where my broom and brush didn't fit.Being able to attach it directly to the tool I'm using has meant that I'll never have the same kind of sawdust problem again. And of course plugging the tool into the vacuum means that I don't need an additional power outlet for it, and I don't need to turn away from the bench to stop the vacuum as it can automatically turn itself on and off with the tool (a few seconds behind but whatever.)It isn't the quietest thing in the world but honestly neither are the circular saw or bench sanders I've but using it with. And as I already wear ear protection when using those tools anyway, it makes no practical difference.It really has changed my life. Now cleaning my shop is a matter of sweeping up plane shavings and sawdust from unpowered hand tools and sandpaper rather than mountains of the stuff building up after every single task. Then a once-weekly run around the shop with this thing and I'm golden.

Had some difficulty attaching power tools. Lidl delta sander and 3in1 sander OK but not perfect. No success yet attaching a Bosch multi tool which is annoying. When it works it's brilliant. No dust and sanding is much better.

Great little extractor which works perfectly with other makes of power tools. The problem with the very tight fitting accessories is easily resolved by using a lubricant, I used a short squirt of spray on grease and the parts slid together with a firm push.Extraction is very efficient and the EasyVac is compact and light enough to move about the workshop easily and works with makes of other 240v dust producing power tools or as a light weight vacuum equally as well.

Not as good as expected

Good vacuum. Just paper bags are expensive and as long they are small needs changing quite often so bought washable similar size unbranded and with minor adjustment on fitting plate now very happy.

In general this unit has some advantages, good size, low noise, but the filters are not fit for purpose. There are two filters - a paper HEPA type (not washable) and a thin membrane (washable?). These filter block easily and are hard to clean. The unit is almost unusable (low suction, frequent blockages) after a couple of months of general workshop use.

Man cave is now clean and dust free. Attaching the hose to a device is a mini task but the adapter is a hard rubber which can be eased on at a slight angle. There are no wheels or rollers on the base so dragging or moving on hard floor will scar the base.
