Adam Hall Stands SKS 22 XB - Double keyboard stand

Oh wow.....always wanted one of these. Looks so cool on stage. My two keyboards and mike are just where I need them. Looks professional and so space saving on stage. Great design and build quality. Reassuringly heavy. Sturdy too.

Plus points first. It would look great on stage -- all the audience would see is a leaning black pillar, with one or two keyboards apparently levitating just behind. Built like a tank: if a guitarist staggers into it, the guitarist will be damaged, not the stand. Now the negatives: * My stand was poorly put together and not properly level. I don't know whether this is a one-off fault, but Amazon have not refunded the postage, which implies they think they ought to be like this. * It is only as secure as the floor it is standing on. The base is quite small, so a wobbly surface translates into a very wobbly keyboard, to the extent that the aftertouch on my Nord is unuseable unless the base is standing on concrete. * The feet get in the way of your pedals etc. An x stand is much better for this. * Unstable if you sit down to play. If you set the stand low enough, it has a tendency to overbalance tip backward into your lap. * The top of the stand gets between you and the audience, unless you stand up to play. * Nowhere to put a music stand or laptop etc. * There is a really nasty sharp corner at the front, just at head level for a guitarist in front of you.

very reasonable price but don't let that put you off......the stand is well made, strong and with no preset height adjustment your keyboards can be placed to suite.holds my synths with no problems....liked this enough to buy a second stand...

well put together very strong too, it holds my motif keyboard with ease, i would have no worries putting another keyboardon too i may invest in a second.............

Built like the proverbial brick outhouse!However, it's very heavy and, if you're not careful, setting it up seems to involve skin loss and/or a crush injury to your fingers.Also, not that stable for very deep (front to back), very long (88 keys plus a mod wheel / pitch bend) or heavier (i.e. fully weighted) keyboards towards the upper end of it's stated maximum capacity.So, 88 key fully weighted EP's aren't ideal, which is a shame as that's what I bought it for.

This is a great stand (I have always wanted one in this style), sold at an amazing price.Delivery was quick and also good value.

Having used quik lok 2 tier stands for years and replacing them too many times to mention I thought I'd give a different make and style a go.First impressions are fantastic, easy to set up and strike down, faster than "quik" lok, looks great and easily adjustable.My only criticism is you can't adjust the angle of the keyboard, so the height you set will be level to where the stand sits.I can't mark it down on one personal preference and I'm sure I'll get used to it.Delivery was incredibly quick and overall a great service with a great product

stand pas du tout stable pour 2 claviers de 20kgs chacun, bascule en avant quand on retire le clavier supérieur.Suis très déçu du produit? Par contre conception très correcte.

Die Mechanik ist einfach und logisch,die Standfestigkeit optimal,keine Vibrationen oder wackeln bei gleichzeitigen Spiel auf beiden Ebenen (Keyboard unten 6 oben 5 Oktaven),Schrauben,Verstellungen,Wertigkeit sehr massiv und super lackiert.Wünschenswert wäre wenn der obere Träger im Winkel noch verstellbar wäre.Beim Spielen im Sitzen schmerzt schon mal die Schulter.Daher auch nur 4 Sterne.Alles in Allem ein sehr gelungenes Produkt und ganz nebenbei optisch ein absolutes Higlight
