I am 98lbs diy girl who is afraid of saws
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Last time tried to use a circular saw (regular size) I almost cut my foot off. That was two years ago and I was traumatized. I love diy stuff and want to build my own shelves and tiny cabin in the back of my house. I’m also about a 100lbs and this saw is perfect. Be sure to buy a saw table or clamps to secure the wood. I am on my way to building my own cabin :)

Tack life circular saw is the real deal!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I purchased this circular saw to do some work on my home. I am renovating my house and always used a traditional 6” circular saw that stopped working for me in the middle of my job. I decided to order this 4 1/2” Tack Life saw to see if I would like it better and am so happy I did. This saw feels great in your hand. You have total control of the saw at all times and the cuts are easy and accurate. The laser guide works perfect and the adjustability of the blade angle makes any job simple. This saw comes with 6 blades 2 wood, 2 metal and 2 ceramic. I am thrilled with this purchase and giving the Tack Life saw my highest recommendation!I am attaching Photos and a video of me operating the saw for your reference.

Absolutely no complaints!
I was going back and forth between the many mini saws (especially the Rockwell) and went with the Tacklife only because it has a more powerful motor, had the laser guide, and it was a little cheaper! Made sense to me! I wish it came with a bag/case, but besides that, it was a impulsive purchase, and a wise decision. I can't wait to use it more often. Plunge cutting wood boards for removal was a breeze! This tool will make you want to create jobs around the house! It really is awesome!

Neat little saw!
I've been considering buying a mini circular saws for a while now. I have a Makita 7 1/4 circular saw, but there is just something about these mini ones that appeals to me. I considered the Rockwell, Worx, and Porter-Cable saws but they all seemed to have issues, from easily broker arbors to other failures, and Amazon reviews were mixed. This one seemed to have fewer reported issues so I thought I'd give it a try, despite having never heard of this brand. I've only had it a few days but so far it seems impressive. It feels heavy, well made and very ergonomic. Some have complained about the position of the safety switch, but I have found no problem depressing with my thumb when using the saw right handed, or using it in with my index/trigger finger where using left handed. It's a tiny bit awkward left handed but not a huge problem. I am replacing a lot of decking this summer and immediately after receiving the saw I made some test cuts on scraps. It had no problem cleanly cutting 5/4 x 6" cedar deck boards and seems like it could be ideal for this. I used a quick square as a guide, as I do with my larger saw, and got a nice straight cut. I think I will be using this more than my regular circular saw now since it is much easier to handle one handed. One other reviewer here received one of these saws with a rip guide that was not square. Mine is nice and square so hopefully the one the other reviewer got was an anomaly. I hope to really put this saw through its paces in the coming weeks, but I have to say my initial impressions are very positive. The only real improvement I could see would be to make the shoe a bit more solid since it feels a little flimsy and flexible. Seems to work ok though. Overall this is a neat little tool!

Great around-the-house saw
My husband has a very nice set of tools; but I don't like cordless tools and his stuff is a bit too "pro-shop" for me. I just wanted a decent saw to cut stuff should I feel inclined. I ordered this to cut some 2x4's. It was the perfect tool for me. It was easy to figure out; had plenty of safety features and I was able to go from "unboxing" to 10 cut 2x4's in less than 10 minutes. What more could I ask for!Anyway, I'd highly recommend this for light duty, "around the house" cutting. It worked great on 2x4's andnever did I feel like it was going to suck my hand in and cut it off. (all kidding aside; it had a good safety cover, two button power, etc.).I'm quite happy with this purchase.

Amazing circular saw
Amazing circular saw. Marvelous ergonomic design. Super product at a super price. I own numerous 8-inch hand circular saws; Skillsaw angle drive. They are perfect for framing and heavy jobs but too big for detail work. The Tacklife 4-1/2 inch is perfect for tight detail work. The laser works great and the extra blades are an added bonus. Buy it you will love it. Tacklife tools are an amazing value.

Really fun tool
It's compact, fairly lightweight, and very maneuverable. I'm a 59 year old woman in the middle of gutting/renovating my kitchen. This is a very handy tool, and I love that it has the laser. The price was good. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great Little Saw
This saw is easy to use and has plenty of power. I needed to make numerous small freehand cuts to build a decorative arch. No problem with this saw. However, the users manual needs to be updated. The saw comes with an auxiliary handle and several blades - including blades to cut ceramics - but neither is mentioned in the manual.
