Useful
These switched mains power plugs offer a solution to a none switched outlet. If you need a switched socket but can't put up with the hassle of changing your socket from non switched to switched these little nuggets are for you.

Good product but a little bit hard to wire correctly.
Difficult to get lengths of conductors and sheaths exactly right. Once done however it works perfectly

Review update - What a load of rubbish
After arriving in good order and working well for under 5 weeks, the plug shorted out and failed with an awful stink of burning plastic. If I were not present it could have resulted in a fire. I cannot warn readers enough that this piece of equipment should be withdrawn from sale. If you already have one then I urge you to dispose of it immediately

It was fine. For light duty stuff.Maybe a side lamp or radio.Used for a fan heater. And didn't last long before the switch became inoperable

Not fit for high loads (3 kilowatt emersion heaters or electric fires of this amperage)Advertised as 13 amp but other seller's are selling at 10 amps. will melt!!!
