My husband loves his pond but it is not fun to go into the pond for repairs and get soaking wet and slip on the rocks. These waders are perfect because he stays dry and doesn't have to worry about slipping, plus I think he looks kind of cute in them. They are well made and a very good price. Amazon was easy to order from and the delivery was extremely quick.

They run slightly large in the foot so you can wear thick socks and fit snugly. They are roomy in the chest area and I highly recommend a belt to prevent this from being a safety issue if you fall and they fill up with water. Also, if you have a pot belly these will still fit. They don't bend well at the knees.As for leaking, I suspect that those who have had problems early, they are mostly likely tugging on the legs to slide foot into the boot and this tugs at the seems between the boot and the leg so it develops holes. They are durable and waterproof and 1/3 the price! I recommend these.

I bought these waders last year. I wore them once last year and thought there was a small leak. I put them on again today for the second time and they leaked like crazy. I counted three major leaks. One on the front of each thigh and one above the right boot. I was in the water for probably 20 minutes and both legs and socks were soaked from the thigh down. I stored them properly through the winter hanging from the boots. These are poorly made. Don't waste your money!

These waders did not stand up to minimal wear and tear. I work at a marsh and do studies on wading birds nesting at the marsh so I have to to do a lot of walking within the marsh to document nest sites. These waders ripped at the crotch after about a month and a half on the job. Very disappointing.

I use these to clean up my Koi ponds and get down and dirty changing the pumps. The only wetness I felt was sweat from my chest on down. Thus, these are good and water tight and easy to clean off with a hose for storage.

Waders arrived very fast, plenty of time before my trip. Plus, kept me completely dry. Negative, very restrictive. If you need to manuver over fallen trees or large boulders these make it tough. They will make a nice spare pair to my Orvis waders.
