I purchased this because I do conventions and markets and my product is glow in the dark. I was hoping for a little brighter light, but that said, even in a fully lit room, the light still activates the phosphorescent material from about 8 feet away. So, maybe I was hoping for a slightly broader (or more narrow-not sure) UV band. I have 2 flashlights from another company that are way more powerful, but I wanted something that was rechargeable, not battery operated, and that I did not have to hold. So functionality. this product is top notch. I will be ordering more, so if that means anything to whomever is reading this. But please note it is a spot light not a flood light. The from about 5 feet back the light does spread about 3x3 feet.

Bought this light for a camping trip since it’s rechargeable. Fully charged, it only stayed on for about 2 hours.It’s a fairly nice light, but I think we’ll just use it at home so it can stay plugged in.

We love making glow in the dark art with kids at home so I think this is a great light to have

A strong and effective blacklight

We got this for home use if photographing UV reactive glassware and other items. Although the electronics are the same as used for other RGB lighting, this is still great for using as a UV spot / flood light. You can control the brightness, number of LED's turned on, reactive to music & if you are a DJ, to integrate into your lighting system.When turned on at maximum brightness, the internal cooling fan is very quiet & not distracting at all. Being battery powered or plugged in, this is also great to take on camping trips looking for UV reactive rocks & those crawling critters (like Scorpions) that show up under UV light. This has good coverage at night in the dark, much better than our UV flashlights, this is just more bulkier but still easy to hold on to.The UV color band also works well for showing where you still need to clean & how badly your cats / children / boys / men miss the potty.Although a little pricy, we do like this light.

This is a very simple but bright and effective black light. It has a simple interface and a cheapo control. While this light can be used in Auto and Sound modes, this is really a DMX light and you will have the best benefit using a DMX controller.Pros:-- Bright-- Easy to use.-- Control works well if you just want to throw some bright black light somewhere.-- DMX controled black light at an affordable costCon:-- Not water proof-- Case material is a bit flimsy

Love the fact that it works without being plugged in. That is great for highlighting different areas. The brightness is near by so won't fill a room but will look good in a corner or highlighting some art. Charing it was interesting as it caused one area of my house circuit to trip. So I had to move it to another area. Felt the unit get warmer as charged. I would not leave it plugged in alone (might lead to unwanted issues). That is the room for improvement the electrical and battery management could be more convenient. I have to make time to charge it and now its sitting not charged.
