Heat and use again!!

These worked but didn’t last as long as I was expecting..I shared some in little gift bags

The packaging of these was weird. Each tiny water bottle comes in its own little bag, but they are also packaged in a larger bag that has some of the nastiest stick-um on it that I have ever encountered. Have you ever accidentally touched old, melty residue from duct tape? You know how you just can't get that stuff off without goof off or something similar? That's what it was like trying to open these. If I had had any clue as to how messy just opening the package would be, I would have cut it open with scissors!Once opened and my hands were clean again, I activated one. It got decently warm, but the heat didn't last long. We drove 10 or 15 minutes from my office to a local restaurant and these lost their heat before we arrived. I thought this would be an environmental and economical solution to an old, freezing car in freezing winter when I rarely drive far enough for my car to actually get warm inside. Nope. The one use only Hot Hands gets hot and stays hot for 8 to 10 hours. Maybe if you live in a less frigid location these would be fine. But here in Alaska I need something stronger.

This might be a good hand warmer for small children since it doesn’t get very hot. I’d say this got warm at best and cooled down REALLy quickly.Had to return since it didn’t help warm my hands and all.
