Easy to install But Wiggles
I needed to add a little more ergonomics to my desk because the I'm tired of being so close to the monitor sometimes. Adding in a few more inches would allow me to sit back and type or play games in a more comfortable position. This item comes disassembled and all you have to do is attach 4 screws to the bottom of the plate and you are ready to attach this to your desk. What I appreciate the most is that there is no twisting and turning to lock this into place. The way the blades are designed, it just holds on well to the desk.Compared to another extension I own, this wiggles a little more, but the ease of use makes this the one I'm going to be using going forward. The simplicity of just sliding this in and typing is a dream. I'm surprised others don't use this design because it really is a very smart way to add a little more length to desks. If you are looking to add some ergonomics to your desk, this will definitely help and then if you just need to remove it, just lift and detach. Easy as that!

An OK desk extender but much better options out there
I was looking at a few different desk extenders because I have a massive monitor stand that takes up a lot of desk space so I needed something that would fit my needs. My main issue with this is that it relies on you basically putting it on top of the desk with the arms loosely securing it in place. The problem with this is that since my keyboard is NOT on the extender, the ergonomics are horrible because the extender is elevated above the keyboard. If you have the keyboard on the extender it may be a decent option but the curved arms don't feel secure, especially compared to other extenders that clamp onto the desk very securely and can go at the same level as the desk. Overall I think this could work for some people but this wasn't a great extender for my setup. I ended up buying a different one that stays level with the desk and clamps on so it's way more secure AND ergonomic because it's level with the rest of the desk.

Wrong dimensions and slips
First, I use a table that's 20 inches wide and needed an extension. The dimensions for the anchors are shown to be 18" apart, and if I add an inch for each bracket, I'll get my 20" which I thought would be perfect...The dimensions aren't even close! The anchors are spaced at 20.5" apart, then adding an inch for each bracket, that brings the minimum width of the table/desk to about 23 inches...I totally cannot use this extender as intended.Second, the way it 'mounts' is insecure. It depends on how well it can wedge itself between the edge of the desk and the little rubber 'grippers' underneath. It can easily fall off with a simple bump. Not impressed at all. Maybe use it as a lap desk... it sure isn't a good extender.

Decent Quality - Nice sturdy build.
Decent Quality - Nice sturdy build and not too heavy.Simple design and carbon fiber look complements the office nicely. No directions were included but it is pretty straight forward, I took a minute to look at the photo on Amazon to ensure I was putting on the brace arms in the correct orientation.

Actually Works Pretty Well
Got this because I'm trying in a new job and I have to work on my laptop from time to time on a small table with no room for my keyboard.Putting these together wasn't too hard. I did have directs, so I had to watch a video. But nothing to extreme.I was actually surprised at the weight. This is heavy and made of good material.I was lucky enough that it fit my table pretty well. You are going to lose some of the space because of how it needs to hook to the table. That does make installation easy. I just literally slid it into place and was done. Feel pretty stable and I haven't had any trouble with it so far. I'll use it a little more on Wednesday and Thursday. That should test it out well enough. I'll report back after an 8 hour day to tell how it holds up under heavy use.Looks very good and way more expensive than it is. I'm impressed by it so far.

Helped extend my work table
I needed to bring my keyboard and mouse closer on of my work stations. It's attached easily and did it's job.

Good if you need something now and are looking for something better
I have a small apartment with a small desk, the monitor stand takes up the entire width of the desk so it is impossible to use a keyboard unless I put my monitor on a riser. I decided to try this item thinking that it would be a great solution, but I was a little disappointed in the quality. The extender has a laminate carbon fiber material, it is just the pattern and not real. Given that it is a laminate material, the edges are very sharp an uncomfortable to rest my wrists. It sticks out about 6 inches from the desk and will fit a normal size keyboard, but feels like it will pull off of the desk if I put the weight of my arms on it like someone who will normally use a keyboard. It would be much better if it had some cushioning for wrists, however given the cutout in the middle, you will need to buy 2 small wrist rests. I am giving 3 stars because it does work as described, just not the best quality and it is definitely overpriced.

Desk extension that works
This product did not come with instructions. I was able to put it together by looking at the picture. My desk was a bit thinner however I had to use 1.5" piece of wood to secure this otherwise is was not very sturdy. It definitely makes more room on the desktop which is the reason that I wanted this. My stand up desk is very narrow and with the monitors and keyboard there was not much space. I wish there was a way to secure this, perhaps clamps or something.
