Braided Bow Sling for a Compound Bow

My original 12 year old bow sling wore out last year during 3D season, so I had to get a replacement fast at the nearest store. I found a similar one but the braid and the leather were very thin, there was no metal grommet, and the sling cost about three times as much as it should have. I recently tried this one, which is sturdy, a much better quality sling, and should last a long time.

Looks good works like a charm . It does the job perfectly . I got it very fast . I like it so much that I my buy another .

Good strap for the price, the heatshrink on the ends came loose while inserting the cord through the leather, but easy enough to reshrink with a lighter. The strap is solid and does not slip. I am happy with this for the price paid ($7).

Nothing special about this product - looks to be put together pretty quickly with minimal effort - almost seemed like it might start coming apart after a few uses, but I can't say for certain. I just purchased it for the leather strap, so that I could make my own sling... I had a hard time sourcing the straps - I wonder if there is a market for this company to just sell the straps for those of us (maybe just me) that want to make their own sling.

You do get what you paid for. It's not an expensive strap and I understand but I expected it to last longer than the installation. The manufacturer melts the ends of what I believe to be a thicker paracord, wraps it with thin nylon cord, and then puts heat-shrink on the ends to prevent fraying. The above mentioned are all approved ways to terminate cheap paracord but I expected to last a tad longer. I did speak to their customer service and at first glance they seem interested. They will send you 3 emails to solicite you to write a review. I replied to the initial email and let them know the issue I had to which they responded "thanks for the heads up". No big deal, just hope they take it on board and make a better product. Anyhow, I got what I paid for. There are probably far better straps out there but Amazon is flooded with cheap 550 cord straps but they are way too thick. Look elsewhere...

Good product for the price. Only issue I had was the heat shrink tube on one end was not installed correctly.. Easily fixable with heat gun. Works as described. I'll see how it stands up to daily use.

Poor quality. The tip is larger Nathan hole in leather. Plastic seal fell off trying to thread it through the leather piece
