LUMINOX Black OPS 8880 Series 8881 Men Watch

This is my fourth Luminox Navy Seal, various models. Always been very pleased, no issues. However my last one (#3) I believe was a clone. Purchased on Amazon. The case was much lighter material (plastic) and the band was crap. Band split doing routine yard work within a few weeks. Bezel scratched very easily but the watch ran good for several years. Not sure what the deal is but 3 of the four were great but # 3 was a big question mark???? I suspect some suppliers are providing clones. This one #4 appears to be the real deal. Heavier case material heavy band. We shall see.

I loved this watch. This is my fifth watch of this kind. You will be able to read it after waking up from a deep sleep. It also can take a beating and keep on ticking. It performs great under water too.

Love the watch. It’s rugged, tough…and the glass on it is great… resists scratches and always looks new. You will never have a problem seeing the time in the dark. (Which is great)

First off, big Luminox fan. This watch is light weight, easy to read, and "durable". I really liked it. I wore this watch daily for 8 months, and now the thermal seal has failed. The watch fogged up to the point I could not read it. I sent it into Luminox for a warranty repair, (which they charged me $35 for) I received the watch back 8 weeks later and it's still foggy. During the warranty process, I received no communication from Luminox whatsoever. Not even a return confirmation. It's my understanding they sub out their repairs to Saltzmans Jewlers and they were impossible to reach as well. Really disappointed in Luminox. I would stay away from this watch.

Bought this Luminox to replace an older one which has given me problems. The old one will stop dead if you bump the knob, so a new watch was in order. I really like this style- simple and easy to read. Just the time and date. But the best part is the tritium lights- this thing absolutely lights up in a dark room. It is way brighter than my old one- they claim 25 years on the tritium and I guess that would be about right.The price on this unit was less than the estimate I got from a repair facility to repair my old one so that sealed the deal for me.I have no clue if it remains watertight up to 200 meters as stated- I am never going to put that to the test...as long as I can swim with it I am happy...I am not a big fan of the band- it is bulky and just never fit my wrist that well, so I put a velcro - nylon band on it which keeps it exactly where I want it on my arm. Don't be afraid to change things out as needed.Love this watch. I think it is a great value.

Strap has a sturdy feel but the tritium markers do not impress as to brightness.

Great watch looks better opening the excellent package it arrived in. Is now my favorite every day watch. I do not shower or tried to swim in it too cold outside. Wish it was solar so as not to wait years before batteries wear out. Great purchase. Checked to make sure it was not a fake watch. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great watch at an affordable price. Would definitely recommend and buy again. Lum is great for night time that’s why I was looking for this kind of watch. Without pushing buttons to see the time. Luminox is a excellent watch.

Just got my 8881. I read the 2 reviews before I bought this watch. But I also did my homework. The watch is beautiful. Better than what I excpected. If u watch the videos n read the reviews. U would know that not all the watches second hand hits all the pips. Some do n some don’t. The crown has a double gasket. Once it is pushed in all the way it disingages. So there should b no problem with water. I was told about luminox by 2 friends. 1 a pipeline worker. The other a retired Seal. They both said once I get one I’d probably not get another watch. They might b rite. The visibility in any light is exactly what luminox says. I hope this helps anyone else looking for luminox.

Resistente y práctico para diario

Ich habe einige der "besten" Top Marken Uhren. Entweder schwer ablesbar, oder mega schwer, oder Automatik die man immer tragen muss, preislich kosten die oft das10-20 fache wie die Luminox, usw. Die Luminox ist einfach nur perfekt für jeden Tag/Nacht! Leicht, super ablesbar egal ob Tag oder Nacht, wasserdicht = TOP! Nur das Uhrband habe ich gleich gewechselt auf das mit Klettverschluss, das ist viel angenehmer zu tragen (spürt man garnicht)

I really like this watch - straight out of the box you know you have something special. It's low key and as un-bling as it gets but I like that. Its very light, keeps great time and is very easy to read. I knew I wanted a Luminox, the sapphire crystal made this the best choice for me.

Für mich die perfekte Uhr.Robust, einfaches ablesen im dunkeln ,sieht Klasse aus und trägt sich sehr angenehm und kommt in einem coolen Hardcase ...Und die Lieferung....einfach der Hammer...Abends bestellt, nächsten Morgen geliefert ;-)

Angenehm zu tragen, gut ablesbar selbst bei absoluter Dunkelheit, geht genau, robust und super wasserdicht.Genau das erwarte ich von einer Uhr.
