Makes the Sony A7 III even more awesome!
This grip is a great deal! Fits perfectly on the Sony A7 III. The grip includes a 2.4 GHz wireless remote that is very capable. The remote also serves as an intervelometer for shooting time lapse photos and works well at that too! Big bonus in my book!It feels great and works great and nearly is a perfect match cosmetically. So, what are you waiting for? If you are still hesitant, do a quick search on You Tube and you will find this grip very well received.

Does the exact job as the Sony Battery grip at 1/3 the price
Its basically 3 times cheaper, everything works, build quality is very similar to the original sony, this cud be used with a9, a7Riii and a7III i used it with my a7III and all buttons and dials worked great including the joystick. The buttons are aluminum and feels good to press. Overall i have no complains and pretty satisfied with the grip when im out to shoot for long days carrying extra batteries and doing alot of portrait shots. the meike battery grip is good value for money!

Locked up camera
Pros: fits my A7iii perfectly and makes it far more comfortable to hold and use, especially with heavy glassCons: the power button doesn’t just control the grip but it also controls power to the camera which means the grip must always be on. This means I am constantly inadvertently activating grip buttons in the landscape mode which gets to the second con, shutter and other buttons are too easily pressed while holding in the normal position. Lastly, while the remote is nice, there doesn’t seem to be a way of disabling it from the camera or the grip.Update: after trying several different lenses one combo ended up locking up the camera. After trying several things, the only fix was removing the grip. Afterward, everything was fine so I sent the grip back and ordered the Sony. FWIW, the Sony works perfectly - the camera is always powered and the switch just turns off the grip, unlike this one. Also the Sony includes the focusing joystick.

It works!
Just got it and used it for one photo shoot so far and it lasted the entire time. Seems sturdy and has many features to be learned, fits my camera and batteries fit. So far it is great!

The fit and finish is very good. In the hand
Even though this grip is primarily for the Sony A9, I purchased it for my A7RIII, which shares almost the same contours as the A9. It works perfectly with the A7RIII, and without scrutinizing, no one would ever know that this grip was not designed for the A7RIII.The fit and finish is very good. In the hand, it feels sturdy. I found the buttons and joystick to be a bit more "plasticky" than the camera, but that is to be expected. To mount the grip, you must remove the battery compartment door, which is easily done using a small switch on the inside of the door itself. Once secured with the screw, the grip and camera feel like a single, seamless piece. In terms of functionality, it has all of the standard functions of a DSLR grip. You can load two NPFZ100 batteries (or just one) in the compartment to power the camera. It has a shutter button, AF-ON button, and even a joystick for adjusting focus points, which can be used for vertical shooting. Additionally, it comes with a remote that can be used for intervalometer functions, like time lapses. Admittedly, I haven't tried that yet, but will update my review once I do.There is, however, an annoyance that I did not expect. Next to the shutter button, there is a power switch. Initially, I thought it was to power the camera on and off, but in reality, it is a power switch for the grip. In other words, one has to turn on the grip before turning on the camera. I wasn't expecting this coming from using other DSLR grips with no power switch, but perhaps this setup helps to conserve battery power.+ PROS +- Seamless fit with A9/A7RIII- Includes AF-ON button for back button focus and joystick for moving focus point- Holds two Z100 batteries for extended shooting- Built-in intervalometer for time lapses, etc.+ CONS +- Separate power switch for the grip- Buttons and joystick have "plasticky" feel

Just as good as Sony
Works just as good as the Sony brand on my other Sony camera but way cheaper price.

Af bottom got stuck
I had this grip sense July of 2024. I was doing a shoot for a client and I thought my camera was bugging.. come to find out the af bottom on the grip has been getting stuck in focus making the camera almost unusable. I got it unstuck but now it's very very fragile. I wanna get a refund.-Sergio

Favorite Battery Grip for my A7Riii
This battery grip is AMAZING! A fraction of the cost of Sony's original battery grip. Feel of the grip and buttons is great and it comes with a remote for timelapses or self timer photography. I use the battery grip on all my shoots
