Backyard Poultry

Disappointed because I wish it was more informative. There is so much to learn- such as how to formulate your own food, poultry genetics, etc. Judging by my first magazine received, has very general info with many adds. Unfortunately, the only articles of much sustenance was written by major commercial feed manufacture. Backyard Poultry Think earlier review was too harsh- I increased the rating as i tried the on-line version and like it better... still would like to see more educational articles in the printed magazine..

If you’re a chicken lover, you’ll love this magazine. I always learn something new every issue.

A neighbor gave me a copy of this magazine and I enjoyed it so much I had to subscribe. I'm a first time chicken herder, that is if you can actually herd chickens, and there is very good content and interesting articles.

My son and his wife are new to raising chickens. They only have four hens They found this a very helpful magazine especially being so new at it.
