Loved this. Can't wait to try out their date boxes

No instructions included. Very disappointed.

First I want to say I did receive this kit for evaluation but this will not influence my review.This kit is really awesome. Not sure I'll call it a date night activity, but definitely noteworthy fun with the kids.The kit comes with the following:* 2 Boards* 2 Hammers* Nails* 6 patterns templates (box says there are only 4, likely because they give you 6 patters but there is only enough space on the boards to do 4 of them (front and back).* 10 bundles of color string (of which white is twice)* 6 color photos of the finish product. This is likely what they considered the instructionsSo the good thing about the kit is fun to assemble, make your own color patterns, etc. The one issue is the instructions are nonexistent. They have the photo of what you're doing but no instructions on where to start of what pattern to loop as. The photo is clear enough to kind of get an idea but it it is really up to the builder how to go about stringing everything.The boards are a very nice color but you can tell it is soft type of wood.The hammers are plastic except the head where they pit some metal. It was good enough, but a real hammer would be nicer.Here are my interpretation of what the steps would be:1. Select the board you want to use.2. Select the stencil you wish to build. Tape it to the board.3. Hammer the nails through the center of each dot.4. Remove the stencil (note you could possibly slide it off if you want to keep the stencil, or do a variation and using the stencil draw the dots on the board by poking holes though the stencil in to the board and then nail the nails in afterwards.5. Pick the color of string, tie one end a nail and start your pattern wrapping it or zigzagging between the nails. Tie the ending to the final nail.6. Repeat with different colors if applicable.Even though the instructions were nonexistent, I still gave it high marks because it was fun building with my daughter. This is a kit I would buy if I were not vine tester. Enjoy!

Sooooooo if you aren’t into winging it you should listen to the other reviews unlike me.. it came with everything but the instructions even though it says full instructions included. I got this for a date night and slightly panicked when there were no instructions but we made the best of it and winged it and very much like our creations.

When I ordered I thought there would be enough boards for all of the patterns, but then realized it just has two boards. Can only be used for one couple and one date night. Was hoping to be able to have three couples or multiple date nights.
