Good value
Arrived quickly in standard Amazon bubble mailer. I think it arrived in a day. It comes packaged in a plastic bag. Standard OBDII connector on one end and a ethernet on the other. Comes with velcro tie to keep the cable organized and neat. Decent quality. Used it to make some changes to the programming of my MINI. Coded out the seatbelt chime, added auto window up and down from the key fob plus a few other items. Will work with BMW too. This is a great value/price/quality.

Nice cable that works well
The cable itself has a nice thick strong feel to it and the connectors feel solid. I really like the length, my old one was only 4 ft long so the 2 extra feet makes a huge difference. I used it on my BMW running Ista and it connected and communicated without any issues. The plug fit into the computer somewhat tightly but it did hold in place even when moving around. So far I have no complaints on what appears to be a very good diagnostic / programming cable.

Couldn't get it to work
Will not connect/interface with software on a Windows laptop. Not sure what the issue is, but I can't get any data.

appears to work as indicated
Software subscription is likely required to use. I haven't been able to actually connect this with a software product because I haven't purchased one yet, but the cable does seem to work as indicated, and Windows does recognize me connecting it when I plug it in. I did notice that I had to actually use a computer that had a RJ45 port directly, as I did seem to have some issues getting Windows to recognize still when attempting to use with an adapter.

I personally couldn't get it to work
I spent quite a lot of time trying different things and I simply couldn't get it to work. It may be user error though considering I'm not the most technically inclined person. I first tried getting it to work with my Mac but apparently the apps that work with it mostly work with windows. I could've simulated windows on my Mac but that would've taken more time and at that point, I'd already spent too much time on it. I tried getting it to connect to my iPhone but even though I watched a few videos on how to do it, I still couldn't get it to work. All the other reviews on this listing are all 5 stars so it may just be a user error. However, I looked up other devices that are just like this one and quite a few others had problems connecting it, too. I did unplug it about 6 times and on the 6th time, the pins fell out of the device so I did have to put them back in to retighten all the screws and hex nuts.
