A very good set. Bought for myself, but would also make a very nice gift for a bearded friend or relative. The laser logo etching is stylish and the magnetic closure box and screen printed bag are nice added touches. Bristles are medium stiffness, enough for a good brush to evenly distribute beard balm or oil without being scratchy on my skin. Comb was a little 'grabby' at first, but after a few uses wear and beard balm smoothed the edges. I'd like it if the bag was a tiny bit bigger, so it would also fit a tin of Viking Beard Balm without feeling crammed. I got this set for myself and I am absolutely thrilled with it. The brush seems pretty high quality, I've only had a couple bristles fall out which from what I've read is to be expected at first. It's a good size and feels great on my beard and skin. My beard has never felt so soft.The comb is pretty good as well, and is handy to carry with me for when my beard starts to feel a little scraggly. I was put off at first at the size of the comb, but after using it a few times I've grown to thoroughly enjoy it.I would definitely recommend this set for anyone looking for a new brush/comb for their beard.

It's my first time taking a crack at growing my beard seriously and I wanted to have the right equipment. I'm only a couple weeks in so I can't tell you how well these work in a longer beard but I find the brush and comb good so far. The nice box they come in arrive a bit bent but that's likely from the shipping process. I found that a good 20-30 boar hairs came off the brush right away but the rest seem secure. Otherwise, no complaints! I think they're worth the money.

Spent a lot of time looking and reading reviews. I like and use Viking oil and balm. Didn’t think I’d want a comb but the price point for the set comes in around the same as the more expensive brushes that are either “too hard” or “too soft”.This is a Goldilocks’ brush for shorter beards. Impressed with the quality of both the brush and comb. Boar bristles are very comfortable on the face but might be a little too closely spaced to get through a longer beard. You can expect some dry bristle breaking and fallout until the brush is conditioned with beard oil and balm use. Then it'll settle down. Also, don't get the wood of either the comb or brush wet with a beard wash and It would help to have some beard oil on the comb before using it on a wet beard.

It seems alot of people don’t understand that a natural hair brush is going to look so some hair until it is broken in. This brush and comb set is awesome! Feels good on the face and the bristle loss is minimal. I’d recommend this product to friends and family.
