Feel good
This was such a good feel good romance. It made me laugh and cry, both characters had growth, their romance was just as good as their working relationship. The spicy was yummy, a really balanced perfect book.

A Twist on the Third Act Breakup
I despise a third act break up. Especially when the miscommunication is something totally dumb or it’s actually more of a fourth act breakup, or it’s solved because of surprise pregnancy.I was pleased to find that this book’s breakup (since we must have one) came in closer to the 50% mark, and actually did good things for the plot and pacing. Sometimes when the couple gets together too soon, the rest of the book can be a slog and lack conflict. Not that the conflict has to include a breakup, let’s get that clear! This one in particular acted as a reset button on our MC’s relationship and the second half was them working back to a good place, rebuilding their chemistry, etc. I think there was the potential for the pacing to go off the rails with this approach, or to feel like we were just rehashing everything from the first half, but I was pleasantly surprised.I wish we would have explored Paige’s family dynamics a bit more, and had some resolution there, but maybe we’re saving that for a book with Lisa as the MFC? There also wasn’t much of a character arc for Gannon - he was pretty perfect minus a couple missteps for the whole story.Overall very enjoyable, and worth a bookshelf spot!

Love it... Lots of lol moments and romantics hots moments too👌👌🔥🔥😍😍🥰🥰
I love this story. . It's so simple yet very very romantic. Love how Gannon set his goals to make Paige fell in love with him again. And how hard Paige fighting her feeling but at the end.. So sweet. I like the story talking about the unfairness in the show business and in the normal works too. Genders shouldn't be the reason for unequality in this world these days. Anyway back to the story, I love how LS always create a very strong characters for the FMC and the MMC always so willing to go through anything to have the girl.. The way Gannon proposed to Paige is so so romantic and sweet. Their chemistry is off the chart and the lovemakings (because they're in love but in denial) are soosoosososo hot🔥🔥🔥and 👌😉. Love it a lot... Now on to Cat's story...

Loved this book!!!!
I’m in love with this book and Gannon.Gannon and his sister Cat are stars of the reality show Kings of Construction. Paige is a field producer on the show. Gannon realizes he has feelings for Paige and he wants to date her. But Paige wants to be taken seriously in her industry and feels dating the star of the show will not be perceived well. She has goals and is career driven. Will Gannon be able to convince her that she can have her career and date him as well? You need to read this funny, heartwarming story. You will fall in love with Gannon.

Read it in one day
This is an example of a perfect light read romance— well-written and with great developed characters. It was predictable in the best way.

Good Read
Not my favorite by Lucy Score, but a fun read. I didn’t have any stand out favorite secondary characters this book either, which I usually do with Lucy’s books.I didn’t get a sense of the usual romance with these two. It was more each scene was a check off of scenes to write to make a romance. When you start the book, Gannon and Paige have already met and worked together for a year. You get hints of their history through their conversations, but they go from not liking each other to gotta have each other quick. Kinda fell flat to me. I will say the shower scene and parts immediately after, when Gannon takes care of Paige after her accident on set, is what gave the book a 3 for me. That was more of the emotional connection I am used to with Lucy’s books. While I appreciated the feminist side of this story, about the inequality for women in the workplace, it was not done well. Instead the author made it more into a cliche “other woman” drama story, than Paige dealing with feminists’ issues. Meeghan was pointless and unnecessary drama. I would have more like to have read about Paige dealing with the issues she felt strongly about and standing up for herself. Being strong and a positive example of how women should deal with these issues. You saw a bit at the end when she dealt with “the suits”, but would have liked more of that. In that same scene, some other characters sneaking her off to a corner to give their support instead of speaking up and out to the suits made the whole feminism issue fall flat to me again.Paige was a little too stubborn to me. She didn’t understand feminism and what it meant. She only acted liked a scorned woman. Feminism is the understanding that women can have the same opportunities as men. They can have a career, a marriage, kids, if they want to. They shouldn’t have to sacrifice if their partner is an equal partner in their relationship. They don’t have to be a “career only”woman or “stay at home mom” woman. They are strong and fight for what they believe in, and have their own thoughts, feelings and drive that is not influenced by anyone. Paige’s arguments against being with Gannon were flat and her just being afraid. Gannon said it best: “You’re a strong, capable, smart woman Paige. Yet you let someone run you off of what you wanted because you weren’t willing to stand up for yourself.“I understand her hurt feelings with Gannon, he should have been more forth coming about Meeghan, but it wasn’t something to run away from him about and refuse to talk or continue their relationship. He had to wait weeks to even talk to her because she was so stubborn. I thought his explanation of how the Meeghan connection started, his sincere apology and commitment of his feelings was enough for a twosome that was only “together” for a little under 2 months. C’mon, and neither communicated if they were in a relationship. I don’t think that meant Gannon needed to go overboard and buy a house and fix it up just for Paige. No guy would do that for a woman he has been with for 2 months. Gannon should have been more firm with the network and said stop creating drama with Meeghan and made a public statement that he and her were never together. That should have been what he did after she showed up on set unannounced. Just my opinion :-)Honestly, I liked getting to know the families they helped and would have loved more time with them. The little boy with the toolbelt was precious, as was Malia. Overall, I probably won’t re-visit this story again, but it was a good read and am glad I had the chance to read it.

What a surprising read.Right off the bat; this story/book is worth your purchase.😊I say this because I normally read action, fast pace, danger bad and good guys fight..But this story has such heart (the little girl story). Between the two main characters they have to find their path to happiness. How working together (no pun intended) to build a good long term relationship. With all of the above I've stated, I hope you enjoy this story as much as I have.

10 Stars
It had all the right stuff -- romance, drama, heartache and fulfillment. Even though you know that in the end they'll make it, you have a great story while you get there. Well done.

Reality
Paige is in a "man's" world and she's gonna make changes that open doors for women, she will not be distracted.... Except one man keeps trying to share her headspace. They work together, they film together and they've got some sparks going. But it's gonna take everything for Paige to get on board....I enjoyed watching the push and pull here and especially reading about pushing for equality.

Hmm
Might be weird to say but I actually enjoyed the world building and side characters a lot…not more than the main characters but I actually think the side characters help the story and plot!Loved Gannon!

Adorei a história do Gannon e da Paige. É envolvente e, apesar das brigas, divertida e emocionante. Recomendo o livro!
