An Unexpected Nostalgic Surprise!
I'm reviewing the "Rainbow" Earl Grey version of the three teas on offer in this listing.Earl Grey tea is traditionally flavoured with oil of bergamot, and I'm sad to see that this version uses bergamot flavouring instead, probably to save money. I prefer the real thing in a premium tea, hence the reason I'm dropping a star in my rating. In other ways this tea redeems itself, and it's an unusual blend, with an unexpected taste profile. The aroma that greets you from the open packet has a rose and citrus sweetness, and this continues with the brew. Rose predominates, and the tea has a long honey finish. It's reminiscent of the Fry's Turkish Delight bars from my childhood ("Full of Eastern Promise")All of this is so far removed from Earl Grey that I think I'd be marketing this as Turkish Delight Rainbow Tea instead, if it were me. I actually enjoy the taste very much, and it's a pleasant drink, but not one I could consume in large quantities, it's just too sweet (and no, I didn't add any form of sugar)Like the confectionery it resembles, this tea is best served in moderation, and savoured with friends, as a treat. And with real oil of bergamot I'd be awarding a full five stars.

Very tasty Earl Grey tea, with a difference.
Forenote:-I am trying several loose leaf teas, to find out which ones I prefer, and have just reviewed a different tea from the same brand (Nutrilus) for Amazon Vine, and so a lot of this review is identical.Positives:-Eco-friendly recyclable pack, which is resealable (grip-seal).Very flavoursome, with a lovely aroma.Made from leaves of Ceylon Single Origin Earl Grey flavoured loose tea leaves, Cornflowers, Sunflower petals, Saffron, and Rose petals.Brewing instructions printed on pack’s label.Negatives:-None, at the time of writing this review.Observations:-Came in a recyclable, resealable (grip-seal) pack.Conclusion:-Strong black coffee, without sugar, made from freshly ground coffee beans is my favourite hot drink.I have drunk tea occasionally, never with milk or sugar added, and, until recently only herbal tea in tea bags. Then about 6 weeks ago I acquired a tea filter, and have been trying some loose leaf teas in an attempt to reduce my coffee intake.Trying this tea jogged my memory, and, in fact, decades ago, before I became such a prolific coffee drinker, the only tea I would drink was Earl Grey, without milk or sugar, and that was loose leaf tea in the days when tea strainers were very common, before tea bags dominated the market. This Earl Grey Rainbow Loose Leaf Tea is different to any Earl Grey tea I have drunk before, but not in an unpleasant way, and is likely to become of my favourites. At the time of writing this review, it was, IMO, very reasonably priced for a 100g pack.

A refreshing and pleasant loose-leaf Earl Grey tea mix.
This Earl Grey loose tea mixture is packed in a resealable paper pouch in a quantity of 100g. My pack came with an 11-month best-before date.I'm a big fan of Earl Grey tea and drink it often and always have some in the cupboard at home. It's one of my favourite teas.On opening this pouch, a refreshing aroma that smells sweet, of rose and fruitiness bursts out. This Earl Grey loose tea mix also contains cornflower, sunflower petals, saffron, and rose petals, and I was looking forward to brewing a cup. The tea is simple to make; for one person, add 1-2 teaspoons of the loose tea in a cup, add boiling water and leave to infuse for 3-5 minutes. The finished hot beverage has a reasonable Earl Grey taste with an essence of rose, saffron and a refreshing fruity aroma—a nice hot drink to consume during the day and out in the garden.

A decent and attractive tea, good packaging and decent shelf life.
I love my brews, I do. I really do. I often blend earl grey with assam to dial down the floral notes but lift the assam. Love it.This earl grey - based on Ceylon black tea - is a decent one - and it looks good, too; a nice tea to offer to guests etc for a 'posh' vibe! It's well-flavoured (though is it bergamot or an artificial flavouring - the ingredient list is ambiguous in that. If it IS artificial it's a good effort, in taste and fragrance. Finally, it has a decent shelf life (about 11 months in this case). All in all, for the price (£6.45 at time of writing), delivered to my door, I think this a very decent buy.

Weak
As an Earl Grey drinker I found this weak in bergamont, but the other flavours came through very nice.I do like a strong tea, would probably better suit if you drink your tea weak.I mixed with my usual blend and this made a very nice cup with the cornflower and saffron.

Delicious
As a lover of speciality teas I couldn’t wait to try this when I saw it. Came in a foil lined ziplock bag like most of my loose leaf teas, which keeps them fresh. A lovely big 100g bag so a lot of cups of tea. I always use my mini brew pot and this tea brewed to a nice strength quickly with no “dust” coming through my strainer as with lower quality teas. The taste was delicious, definitely an Earl Grey tea with bergamot coming through well, the rose flavour was quite pronounced too which I love although my husband did not. The other flavours were more subtle. Overall a delicious, quality cup of tea.
