Bought a used AM4 mobo that was missing its back plate. This did work allowing me to mount the stock Ryzen cooler but I was not able to tread the tension screws in all the way with out bending the mobo ot much. This is due to the threaded studs not protruding through the mounting holes far enough as shown in my pic I have up loaded. The stock back plates studs protrude through the board about 3 or 4mm. Overall this will work if you can't find a OEM stock back plate but I wouldn't recommend unless you really need it.

Let me start off by saying I only needed the brackets and did not need the backplate. When I had switched out the CPU a while back I had to take the brackets off to accommodate the cooler I was using that screwed directly into the backplate and I lost the original brackets.I was able to utilize the original backplate with the brackets that came with this package and it works great. While I didnt need the new backplate, I feel it would have been suitable from a durability standpoint as the plastic felt really strong and not cheap. However, as others have mentioned the screw holes coming out from the plate are really short and I tried to illustrate this in one of my pics. I did not test to see if that is actually the case, but just an FYI.I have an MSI b350m bazooka motherboard and used the new brackets and old backplate for install of Ryzen 7 3700x and the included stock wraith prism cooler.

I swapped my air cooler for an AiO and couldn't find the stock bracket. I ordered a different one, way too short. This fit like a glove, and the hooks on the CPU pump fit perfectly!

Bought a second hand mobo off of Amazon that made no mention of lacking the mounts for the CPU fan and had to get the build done fast. This bracket was the saving grace of my Ryzen 1700x build. Perfect all the way around.

The only thing you need to know is if it fits. I can confirm without a doubt that this bracket works on my AM4 motherboard under a Ryzen 5 1600. One of these came with my motherboard but i uninstalled and lost it after installing the stock cooler. I just recently upgraded to a Corsair H60 AIO 2018 and it mounted great using this bracket. No complaints 5 stars

The Product worked like a charm. I have seen a few reviews saying that the screws don't go all the way in, that the dimensions are wrong, that it is not secure. All I have to say is that everything worked like a charm. I have the Gigabyte Aorus X370 Gaming 7, and it worked as the original mounting CPU bracket. The only difference is that this one is plastic. Fear not, the plastic material it's very strong and I was able to tight it really hard, and it did not bend or brake.

This fit as expected! I just wish I didn't throw away the original since the new Ryzen processors come with a fan that doesn't require the brackets. If you need a replacement, I would highly recommend these!

El soporte ajusta muy bien en la board y se sujetan muy bien los disipadores de la serie A y Athlon 7a generación, pero los de los Ryzen que utilizan tornillos, aquí si hay problema para sujetarse, los tornillos no alcanzan a la rosca del soporte.

The backing plate supplied is plastic, as opposed to pressed metal, and is thicker than the original part. The original one was attached to the back of the MB, so I used that with the clips from the kit.The included anchoring clips have appear to work perfectly, for the upgraded Cooler I installed.

Holds my stealth wraith cooler very good. Awesome product. Would be perfect if it has adhesive on it to attached to board.

The plastic retainer pieces work amazing with a Corsair H100 AIO cooler.The plastic backplate has noticeably shorter screw holes compared to the metal one that was included with my motherboard. Thankfully I didn't need to use it.
