I have to rate as one because it is missing pieces. Bought as a Christmas gift. Return/exchange is over. I should have looked, but it looked like hadn't been open. Little guy is really bummed, so am I.

My daughter and I wanted to do a circuit like this but they are acouple things that made me return this. First, not all the parts where present. Second, and most important, the grid base doesn't hold any of the pieces well at all. It's too thin and small and everything pops off of it, making it more difficult than it needs to be to connect the circuit. We returned this product.

This kit is really cool for younger kids; I don't imagine kids 7 and up would spend a lot of time with it. My preschoolers love making different connections and making the lights turn on. The instructions are very clear and kids can use it independently, which is great for science centers. I rated it 4 stars instead of five because the price is pretty high for what it is.

Love the quality of this product. Keeps the little ones busy creating new connections for different actions.
