Oval Gear Inline Meter for Diesel Fuel with 3-26 GPM, 1" Inlet Size (Aluminium)

So far, this meter has done better than a previous alternative purchase. We are tracking fuel consumption by equipment and this is essential when out in the field area.

This product is the worst I’ve seen. If I could write a 0 Star review I would. This meter took a while to install and gets dirty since I use it for diesel fuel. After installation it does not calculate correctly it says gallons on the meter but it is not. I even adjusted it to see if maybe it was off and it still doesn’t work. Horrible product. Don’t waste your time buying this

I use this meter to tell how many gallons of gasoline I'm putting in my old tractors from a tank in the back of my pickup. I need to keep track of the gallons so I can add additives for these old tractors. It quit after dispensing 31 gallons. I removed the front cover and the main plastic driving wheel is not turning. Suspect the "wheel" in the pump itself has come off. It's also past the return date.GreatCircleUSA called/emailed me after I posted this review and has shipped another Fuelworks meter to our farm. Customer service was quite nice and did confirm that this meter could be used with gasoline. They also are interested in why the first meter quit so I'll post more results/photos once the meter is taken apart.

Works when it wants to...quite large also. Had to put in 2 elbows to get it to fit under my truck tank lid.

The manual says that the counter and cover can be rotated around the body to change the flow direction configuration. After removing the counter and cover, I can see that there is no provision to rotate them around the body. If I did so, there would be no place to screw the counter back in and the drive spline coming out of the body would not make contact with the spline that drives the counter. I e-mailed the company in Shanghai (via their website) asking for help and got no response. Am I supposed to remove the 8 screws and disconnect the measuring chamber to change the configuration? If so, it would be nice if the manual said that.

Does what it is supposed to which means I no longer have to fill 5 gallon cans to keep track of how much fuel I'm using. I've had it for about a week and have run 220 gallons through it already.

Absolute crap! I bought this to use on a road service truck to track fuel dispensed, after filling a 115 gallon tank from almost empty the fuel meter reads 11 GALLONS, only off by about 90%. Get it together. The add says 1" NPT threads, the box says 3/4" NPT threads and it came with 1" O Ring fittings. Oh and it says unit is calibrated for Kerosene. Buyer beware!

Works as described. Easy to calibrate and change meter orientation. Hope it lasts a couple of years and I will give the 5th star.
