This bike exceeds my lowest expectations! It doesn’t reach anywhere near the claimed 21 mph (my actual is 13 mph for a distance if 6.7 miles), after that you’re lucky to reach 13 mph peddling as hard as you can. When I told my more experienced eBike friends about this, they said it’s a $400-$550 bike, realistically half the price I was charged.I’m trying to return the bike but I’m getting the run around, did you try this, that, etc. & receiving no real answer to my request. In good conscience I WOULDNOT recommend this bike for the money, it is a pure ripoff. Chinese designed & poorly at that.Beyond performance, the kickstand doesn’t support the bike & weight of the battery. Just standing it up is a challenge, as it wants to fall over. The kickstand won’t support it & is too short.I’ve already had to replace the pot metal screws that sheared off under it’s own weight, with real Stainless Steel srews/bolts that won’t shear. The problem still being that the kickstand is still TOO short!I could go on, just look elsewhere for a bike that performs as specified!😡UPDATE: HeyBike accepted my return but now they have the bike & my money!Supper Slow response to a simple refund!DO NOT buy this crap, they are also Best Buys new flagship eBike supplier! They’ll learn a hard lesson 👎

think before you buy
I ended up returning this bike. I lost about more than 450 dollars to ship this bike back via ups. UPS charged me a 200+ additional fee for an extra large package(there are cheaper alternatives shipping a bike, sadly I only found out later). To be fair, if this bike was sold to me in a local shop fully assembled well, I would keep it. It has many nice features. The customer service was good. They responded fast and I did get my money back without any problem. The assembly was such a pain. I really should bring the package to a local bike shop for the assembly, but my car is not large enough for such a giant package. The second day I started riding the bike, it could not turn well and the front wheel was very wobbly. My husband fixed it but after several days the black plastic ring got worn off and it made a scratchy sound. I brought it to a local bike shop and they told me the headset was broken and it was not safe riding it any more. They did not have a matching headset since they do not carry this brand. I emailed customer service and they said they could ship me a new headset. But what if it still did not work and then I missed the return period of 30 days? The customer service did not answer this question. Finally I decided to return this bike.Putting this bike into the original package was also a huge pain. Then I had to schedule a UPS pickup for this. It was all new processes adding frustration to me.In all, the bike has the potential to be a good bike and the company is a good company. The key flaw here is the online selling mode. There was no reliable convenient source for direct help when the issues came out. I ended up getting another similar ebike whose brand has a local bike dealership near my home. It cost me six hundred dollars more than buying this bike online, but I can walk there to get my bike fixed if there are issues.
