wonderful 3"x4" non-adherent pad w/adhesive strips on just 2 ends, not on all 4 sides.3 reasons; 1st- sensitive or fragile skin can't tolerate too much adhesive being pulled off of their skin, assometimes the adhesive will pull off some skin with it.2nd- adhesive on all 4 sides puts #1 into play + no [less] air can get into the wound area with all 4 sides taped off while adhesive on 2 sides lets air in through the other 2 non taped sides.3rd- non-adherent pads are not 100% effective [maybe 75%], but they are much better than regular gauze pads that will in my guesstimation be roughly -5% effective in preventing pulling your scabs off when pulling off the gauze pad.peace,&health.
