another excellent outing from Mark Mazower on Greece, the Holocaust, and problems with the Greco-Jewish population of Salonika and Greece occasioned by both the Nazi occupation and Holocaust, and internal left-right problems in Greece which emerged upon liberation and exploded into the Civil War over whether Greece would go Communist, giving rise to the Truman Doctrine. A fascinating, captivating study.

Good read as a collection of essays.
