Install was a bit junky but it's a great quality product.

UPDATE: I’m updating my review from 2 to 4 stars because the scratching mat has stayed firm on the couch over several months, and my cat uses it! My only complaint is with the terrible instructions that are unclear about how to installation.ORIGINAL REVIEW: We got this thing on our couch, but I have no idea if it’s the way it is supposed to be. As others have noted, the written instructions that come with the product are awful. The 45 second video on the website spends 5 thoroughly unhelpful seconds on installation: “Installation is a breeze. Simply place it on your sofa, secure it with the provided fasteners, your furniture is now cat proof.” Ridiculous! We’ve spent at least 30 minutes studying pictures and searching for YouTube videos to try to figure out how to install this thing.If it manages to stay on the couch, and if the cat uses it instead of the furniture, we’ll keep it, and I will update this review.

My cats do not use this. They still scratch the couch. Also, the bottom porting of each is held down with Velcro straps. Depending on your couch, the Velcro straps may not fit as they do not hold it down tight.

It took a few days for the cats to use it but it has done it’s job of protecting the couch.

Good product. The came in the color of my couch. I like them and would recommend them, especially if you have a cat.

Good luck figuring out how to get this on correctly because the instructions are not clear. I was disappointed that the velcro straps that wrap around the legs of the sofa are gray versus brown so they down stand out in a glaring way. Hopefully I got it attached correctly. I do not like the fact velcro is attached to the sofa on the underside. We shall see if it works.

I've had these in place for 3 weeks now and they still are not lying flat. They are loose hanging so the cats do not like them. How they attach to the arms of the couch looks terrible. And the pocket piece is put together so the adhesive part is on the wrong side. If I attach it to the couch arm, the pockets are facing the arm.
