Many hands make light work
This was dispatched quickly with tracking info provided, it arrived a day ahead of estimate. The foil was rolled up, packaged in a long cardboard tube. The instructions about how to be very careful with the foil were rolled into the foil, so the foil had to be handled before accessing the instructions. Would it be better to tape the instructions on the outside of the roll? The instructions also contain clear information about fitting. Here we discover there is a difference between knowledge and skill. The instructions contain knowledge, let me explain what I learnt about skill...I started with a small pane (100cm x 550cm) to get some practice with the fixing method and cut a suitable piece from the long roll. Fixing that was fairly straightforward, I followed the instructions and found out where were the tricky bits. Much care is needed to handle such a size of foil to avoid creasing. The foil looks good on the window and, looking from outside in daylight, it wasn't possible to see inside until I got very close, then it was a ghostly, faded view of inside the room. The main window I wanted to cover is 240cm x 110cm, so as I had some success with the smaller pane and reasonably experienced with DIY, I tried this one next. Other reviewers suggest that 2 people would be needed and I found out how true this advice is! There is a stage where the window is wet with soap solution and the foil (including backing) is 'suckered' onto the window so that the backing can be removed, revealing the adhesive. The size of this piece of foil is top heavy and will not readily 'stick' to the window (through wetting with the soap solution) while the backing is removed. The foil buckled from the top and the adhesive stuck to itself. Even before wetting the adhesive it is very sticky so I could not flatten out the foil and it is now in the bin.I thought I would share this experience with those planning to have a go at fixing this foil. My suggestion is that it would be easier to fit short wide windows, rather than tall, thin ones (or just tall ones!).Have I given up? No. I think it is a learning curve and will order another roll and get some help. Another pair of hands will make all the difference. Other reviewers have claimed success and I won't give up so easily. A bit expensive for a learning experience, perhaps? Maybe, but probably cheaper than getting a professional to fit it!

You can't return it (even if try)
Bought x2 sets and both arrived 2 weeks later and were no longer needed. I applied for refund and Seller asked to take package to Post office which I did to find our that neither Post Office accepts packages that tall. I can't imagine seller not knowing this as all films come in tall packages.Stuck with this expensive film and Seller wouldn't help - hoping Amazon will.BOTTOMLINE: prey that it fits your requirements, because if it doesn't you won't be able to return it.
